    I seriously don't like menno I'm not a fan at all. But he smoked Dem all. I have watched it over and over again. Even with repeats or no repeat those guys were crashing against him. Victor did rubbish😢😢. Icy Ives was playing and crashing at the same time no confidence. Only samuka should have beaten him but he had a little repeat and a crash at the last round. So sad samuka lost. I really wanted to see a new hero. Alvin was playing with icy Ives and lost. Alvin should have beaten menno .. 😢😢😢😢 menno won flawless victory. 🎉 Still don't like him

    all I can see is, a system thats been in place for so long, that its gone stale and got optimized by Menno to a degree where he soullessly wins events. Something needs to be changed and shaken up, because THE DANCE is not rewarded at BC One anymore. Neither is originality nor musicality. The clearest problem to me is that the music is soulless and bland at this event. Compare it to the Red bull event in rio that happened just days prior to BC One, with uzee, the crews etc. It had great DJs that clearly didnt have to concern themselves with copyright, and so tons of bboys delivered sets with fresh unpredictable musicality like Nori. Menno is simply a dancer that only ever dances to the beats tempo, not the intricacies. Sure his movements have intricacies - but he would do same movements to any other beat, in exact same order. Too many sequences, too much choreography. Out of all the BC ones he won, I only feel like he truly deserved one of them on merit - that merit being DANCE, not arbitrary system of Red Bull

      Well that is one way to look at it, my opinion is that both the olympics and red bull bc one are not a representitive off true breaking, but at the same time is fun to watch.

  • @allwarsspsc9229
    @allwarsspsc9229 18 часов назад

    In my opinion even if it makes sense with this system that menno win, it doesnt mean that the system is polished enough, i think that it allows for less risky styles to earn more points, one thing menno does a lot is basically tricks that have low crashing posibility because he maintains his hip low , plus because half of his style is based on rolls , wathever crash he might have can be just another transition, hong 10 uses a similar principle to recover from crashes but he keeeps the difficulty very high anyways, imo the system should be modified so those blow ups have more value and the rolls have a little less, not too little but less for sure. Thanks for the video explains a lot on how the system is.

    From my perspective, if Menno had a backstory of striving for a fourth championship, he would have received more understanding from people, unlike Ives, who documented his journey to Red Bull BC One, and everyone was eager to see him emerge victorious. Flea rock did that and look what happened to him in Red Bull🤷‍♂️

    LOL... MENO REPEATS More than any other dancer in the higher brackets period... His flow is repeat after repeat with small changes like hand placement or sweep... Without being biased, everyone repeats some moves especially in comps where you need a solid 12=16 rounds to win. This "dance" is more than moves right? How many can you cram into one round just to score points w blind judges that are now looking past most of the other elements that complete a dancers arsenal. I can see "why" Meno won from the "judges" scoring point of view but he lost with the culture unless its the cats looking at in a way that ain't inline with how and where this "dance" was orginated. Studio bboy vs a raw bboy.... Ives all day...

    i agree you can do a quadruple flip land on mars and jump back down to earth, but if land on your face, and leave that as the last thing u do at the end of your round, your pretty much just wasted everything you did, and if that was your best move that sucks.. judging is not is if one of the dancers crash, it actually makes judging a lot easier.. i'm not saying anybody sucks, i love tricks, blow-ups, and combos but at the end of the day if you can make everyone of your rounds dope as fuck, not repeat in battles or in cyphers, and even top it of by being able to stand up every time look at your oppenent the judges and the crowd and say "that's my shit" i made that shit, Original shit.. like i've only one a few jams but when i was training hard, to feel so good about every set that even if the judges voted against me.. i'd forgive them because in my own game i won.. and thats pretty much the trick to winning jams
