This channel will primarily be about landscape photography. Maybe some video, some editing, some drone stuff, but mainly Landscape Photography!
Finally, L-Bracket for the Nikon Z8
I thought I'd be waiting months for a l-bracket for my new Z8, but thanks to Ebay and some quicker than expected shipping from China, I had one on my camera before July!

New Channel! Z8 price, steal or overpriced!

This is my first video in what I hope to be many more on this channel. This channel will be all about photography. In my first video I wanted to talk about the upcoming, and long awaited Nikon Z8. With the most recent rumors floating around I wanted to discuss what everyone thinks the price will be, and whether or not this camera will be a good value depending on that price. Thanks for watching.
Mount Rainier Day Trip

Just some pictures and a timelapse from a day trip to Mount Rainier
Go Blue!
For some reason I can't get into my ebay account. It wants me to create a new one. But I find one on Amazon. I think it was a little more. I think it was $75 after taxes with free shipping. It's supposed to be here by Tuesday but I haven't seen an email saying it has shipped. I do have a small plate to mount if I need to for landscape. I didn't trust some of the cheaper ones I saw and I can't afford RRS gear.
Where is the L bracket from that you bought from overseas for 50 some $? Link?
Thx for the video! That are the information i needed. Greetings from Germany 👊🏼
Thanks for the video, who make the table to tripod, looked sturdy.
Thank you, the tripod is the base to the ifootage cobra 3 monopod (with pedal). It does work great for a table top tripod, and is a phenomenal monopod for under $200
The Sony A7R V is superior in all regards , and the lenses f1.8 are far less expensive. Also if you need a second body you can buy a 33 mega pixel body that focus for less than $2700. If you go to F1.4 or faster the lens prices are similar, but Nikon has less options. The plus’s for Nikon are the telephotos. So if Nikon want to expand the market share they need to price it below 3500$ and if they do it will kill the Z9.
While I'd definitely agree that the A7RV has plenty of advantages (stills resolution, probably dynamic range, 16 bit hdmi output, evf, and the lcd hinge looks pretty slick), I think the Z8 has plenty of its own advantages. Mainly the stacked sensor that will allow for much higher, usable frame rates while producing stills and video without rolling shutter or warping. Not to mention better internal video recording. No question Sony has a much larger selection of lenses, and other types of cameras to choose from or add to your kit, but I've been extremely happy with all 11 z lenses I've owned so far, and with sigma and tamron joining in, and the growing used market I think there will be plenty of great options moving forward. All depends on what you're looking for and what you already have I suppose.
Sony doesn’t have much larger lens selection you keep failing to mention F Mount lenses that even early Sony users kept using until they got there lens native lens better. Also Sony doesn’t have a better dynamic neither colors nor 3D contrast nor ergonomics even it lacks in raw video editing bit options nor it gets any updates later also weather issue as well product longevity issue with Sony are rampant due to heating as well So NO Sony is not better in any way other than for Sony product fans.
I just really really hope they do an update on pro-capture/pre-release, so that you can continously shoot images for wildlife and press the shutter to "store" the previous frames. The Z9 has this, some canon cameras do, sony does not, and olympus kills it with this features. Olympus has RAW capabilities with this, but the Z9 only does this in JPEG. I'm baffled why they couldn't introduce a slower FPS with RAW for this feature. But I would love to get the Z8.
Completely agree. As someone who would love to shoot more wildlife, I love the idea of this feature (never used a camera with it myself), but I always shoot raw, so... Maybe it certain situations I'd go back to jpeg just for this, but if it could pre-capture in raw, that would be awesome
