      YES, IT IS CONFIRMED FAIL DURING INSPECTION WITH THE BACK PASSENGER SEAT FOUND BY THE INSPECTION CENTRE GUYS. THEY WILL TAKE PHOTO OF YOUR N-VAN INTERIOR AS EVIDENCE AND INFORM YOU OF THE FAILURE.

    Hi mind if i ask.. how do i release the footbrake?? It took me 1hr trying to figure it without success.. even the CS gave the instruction were not precise and clear. In d end i have to end the trip and seek refund. I think some users are having a hard time on this matter as well, so hope u guys can do a tutorial/instrutional video on how to release the footbrake..

      THE HANDBRAKE ARE ACTUALLY FOOTBRAKE LOCATED AT THE EXTREME LEFT ON THE FLOORBOARD. TO ENGAGE USE YOUR LEFT FOOT AND DEPRESS FULLY TIL IT LOCK (AFTER ENGAGING PARKING GEAR, WHILE YOUR RIGHT FOOT STILL DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL). TO DIS-ENGAGE, (WHILE YOUR RIGHT FOOT STILL DEPRESSING THE FOOTBRAKE BEFORE ENGAGING TO DRIVE) USE YOUR LEFT FOOT TO DEPRESS THE EXTREME LEFT PEDAL UNTIL IT DIS-ENGAGE THE LOCKING SYSTEM AND REBOUNDS BACK.

    Immense regret trying shariot!! First, there's $100 deposit which will takes at least 6 month to refund back to you if you decides to terminate the account. Next, shariot customer serivce centre are managed by a bunch of monkeys. I had numerous of encounter with them worse being having booked a 2 hour session but did not even go to the car, next they deduct $100 from mine account for "returning" the car with less than 1/4 tank of fuel. How the hell has the car got to do with me when I didnt even use it? When I contacted them thru the app chat function, they still have the cheek to claim I used the vehicle? ITs only when I dared them to check the carpark video records did they refund me and NO apology from them! Ill-mannered and probably low educational levels too. Another incident: Shariot's app used to prompt for photos of the vehicle, fuel level at startup and end of trip. Recently they updated their app and do away with pics before and after trip, guess what, this doesnt mean you should not take before and after pics. Why you asked? Cos their cars have fuel gauge issues, refueling less than 5 litres wont move the gauge indicator which shariot denies. Thing is I usually do less than 30km, why would I refuel more than 5 litres?

    One calendar month from the day of app download to the date that I was informed that they could not initiate an account for me due to my DOB entered to their system was wrong. Not one cust rep contacted me to clear anything up. There was no real phone number for me to call except through their app via "live chat", and email. If it took an entire month for me to eventually find out why Shariot could not verify my details to have my account started, can you imagine how long it is going to take for Shariot to come through if I had rented their car, drove it and had a flat tire? I downloaded GetGo app today. Sent my details via logging in through Singpass, and my account was up in less than 2 minutes!! And guess what? I didn't even need to pay $100 deposit with GetGo!

    The service is so slow. I tried contacting Shariot via live chat and it took them hrs to reply me and they cancelled my booking for nothing. So disappointed

    This is a misleading ad. It doesn't say that you are supposed to fill up the tank before returning the car. "Users of Shariot are required to pay for fuel using the correct fuel grade. The vehicles fuel-grade label is located on the inside of the fuel door. Vehicles must be returned with at least a quarter of a tank. Failing to do so will result in penalties."
