      Actually you need to really dig into it. If you dont have a manual you should get one. Victory Glass sells them. there is a troubleshooting section that overs this. and the manual goes into detail of what to check. you need to check various plugs and sockets that relate to the #3 ciruit.

    • @allthingsdiymike1106
      @allthingsdiymike1106 4 месяца назад

      there are a few things to check. after opening the rear door have a look at the cancel button on the side of the cabinet, the spring may have come off to push it back out. next thing to check is the the entire canceling mechanism. during normal play as the tonearm works its way toward the center of the record it will eventually trip the cancel mechanism. unfortunately i dont have access to either of the wurlitzers right now. Here is a very good video of a similar mech. have a look around the 8:00 mark for canceling mechanism. ruclips.net/video/KM5bA6c7mQo/видео.html

Turns out that shut-off mechanism pushes two electrical contact points together during that sequence. • @allthingsdiymike1106
      @allthingsdiymike1106 4 месяца назад

      it slopes slightly. so it is 27 inches measured close to where the log would lay for splitting and about 28 inches on the outside edge. this also includes 3/4 plywood i added to make the bed on each side wider and longer. i am a little over 6ft tall and with a log on the bed or in the split ram area it is still comfortable for me considering the logs are usually several inches in diameter, so there really is very little bending over at all.

    Mine had records stored under the glass, and someone made a selection and the selector crashed into them. Now when I make a selection the selector doesn't move to pick up that record, Is there a shear pin? The turn-table still spins...

    • @allthingsdiymike1106
      @allthingsdiymike1106 5 месяцев назад

      I do not believe that would be the issue. have a look at the reversing switch. it may have gotten hit and broken. it is like a little flapper that changes direction when the mechanism moves all the way to the right or left. Also, you can just try lifting the lever that is under the mech cover. it is just the right of the tonearm when you get the mech cover off. sometimes this resets everything. lifting will cause the record to play at the position the mech is in at the time. it should then just play the record normally and place it back in the record stack and go and get the next selection. The other possibility is maybe the scan switch or mech on/off switch got hit. raise the glass/dome and look around for on/off switch and a scan swtich. try moving them in the opposite direction . one of them looks like a toggle switch usually.

But, I thank you for taking the time to make this video and show how it wasn’t working. This is the only one I have found. I would not have shown all the wood splitting for each piece, as it was just repetition, show the first couple of splits on every round, then go to next round, then go to next round, and then final round. Then use the moisture meter on a piece or two from each type of tree.. Could have all been done, concise and finished in 20 minutes! I will not be back to watch part 2!

Also, I see you are using a Thorpe cartridge in your machine. How do you like it? Thanks for your help!! I also liked your going over the credit unit. I wrote it down somewhere but cant find it. you might want to put a note in the box once you find out which cap. As far as the Thorpe it sounds good, but the needles can shift easily and twist off to the side sometimes. I did try putting a tiny piece of clear tape directly over the base of the needle and it worked fine for a long time to prevent this from happening, not that it happened often. then i replaced the needles and never bother to put the tape back on and its been ok. glad you found it helpful.

      Glad you found it helpful. I put the chains on the rear a few weeks ago using the string, it is so much easier using that method and much faster than trying to toss them over the tire. I really enjoy this tractor. good luck with your tractor. I wouldnt go too wide with the spacers it could weaken or compromise the axle bearings etc. thats why i just decided to not go too wide. the spacers i bought gave me chain clearance and made the tractor a little less tippy. somewhere on youtube i saw a video of a guy that took his tractor on a hill and he was able to just about push it over by hand. then he added i think it was 1 1/2" spacers to each side of the rear and he took it back to the exact same spot on the hill and he was no longer able to tip it by hand. so even an 1 1/2 on each side makes a good bit of difference in stability.

      sometimes when i am finally able to get it a bit free i will plug it into a power strip so i can quickly turn it on and off to see if i really have it unjammed. it just speeds the process up a faster instead trying to keep turning the motor by hand. if more than 1 tray got pulled out at the same time then it might be those fingers i mention in the video pushing in too much or not enough. you have to look at how the those fingers latches onto the tray to pull them out on the right side when you are looking at it from the back of the machine.

    Great video. We just inherited one from my in-laws. Everything works great and the condition looks just like yours but, the needle that rides the left side of the record usually plays for a bit and starts to loop the same section of music until I stop it. Could that be a needle or an arm pressure issue? Also, the turntable section seems pretty loud like it needs to be lubed and left on with no records playing, there's a pretty annoying low frequency buzz coming out of the speaker.

    • @allthingsdiymike1106
      @allthingsdiymike1106 Год назад

      If you dont have the manuals for it you can pick them up at Victory Glass. it will help with any adjustments you need to make. such as the needle pressure. it will also help with what kind of lube and where to lube the turntable. yeah, if it needs lube the vibrations go right thru the needle and into the cartridge. there are rubber grommets in the turntable that may need to be replaced as well. the manuals will go over how to do this. it is a great box. restored mine about 26 maybe even 30 years ago and it still plays great!

    Nice review. Mine is a year older and I'm about to do the 550hr maintenance. I have longer forks. It doesn't help much with visibility. I also have the pto leak issue which I'm about to fix. I have a 7 foot rototiller. It works well. The tractor handles it, no problem. My biggest problem has been electrical. In short, the grounding cable corroded very quickly and both drained the battery and caused starting issues. I went through three batteries before I figured it out. I have the engine pulley grease zerk but didn't know about the bolt. Thanks for that.

      Glad it came in handy. I really do enjoy the tractor. It has worked well for me. jus the right size and more powerful than i thought it would be for an HST. I have yet to do the pto seal. it is getting close to the 550 mark for me too. My original battery only lasted a little over 2 years, then it was too weak to crank in the winter. I will check the ground cable, thanks.

      Try penetrating oil on the shaft area. also you may have to see where the adjustment is possibly going from brake pedal to the drum and loosen it up. or disconnect the line completely from the pedal. this would loosen it up hopefully enough to get the drum off.

      HI Harold, it has been a long time since I did the restoration on mine. i think you need to go in the back of juke and there may be blocks on the top and/or bottom that are pushed up against the pilaster that you have to take off. then you may have to lift the pilaster straight up and maneuver it out.

    • @TomStrickling

      Most likely and auxiliary transmission, probably an under drive. This would bolt up directly behind the Model T transmission. The other shifter would shift the Ruckstel rear end, changing the gear ratio @@allthingsdiymike1106

    I have a new 1635 Mahindra and the salesman told me it had a bucket self leveler on it. I should have asked him to show me the control because I cannot find it. My old tractor had it on the bucket control up and down lever. This video shows nothing that would contribute to my question or any other question. It's just a nice little ride through the forest with an operator who doesn't know how to fill the bucket.

      Victory Glass just started making new amps for these jukeboxes which allows using your phone to make selections. i dont know anything else about this new amp. My opinion is as long as switches are complete and you do a thorough cleaning, rebuild and adjustments during your restoration they will work for decades without issues, as long as you play them once a month or so which i always enjoy playing them.

    Thank you. Very nice. I have this same machine which all of a sudden doesn't reject and I have to turn off the jukebox and then turn it back on and it will reject. If I don't turn it off, the turntable will just keep turning and will not drop down the record to its holder and close. Have you got any idea what to do in this case?

    • @allthingsdiymike1106
      @allthingsdiymike1106 Год назад

      hmmmm I would say try the cancel button on the side of the cabinet while the record is playing and see if it returns the record to tray and cancels it out. at least you would then know the electrical part would seem to be working fine (solenoid). then with the door off the back have a look at the tonearm and where it pivots in side the mech when the tonearm gets to the end of the record, it must push on a lever and then a i think a set of points to activate the cancel of the record.. over time the mech gets a bit gummy and needs to be cleaned. a bit. I think if you get a manual from always jukin or victory glass it has troubleshooting section. Also, Richard from Always Jukin may have a lead on it. It is a really good magazine/paper on jukes.

    The stop spacers are a good idea as the splitter doesn't run all the way to the end and those stringy species tend to need extra encouragement to completely split.

      Yes, I have used it a bunch this season and it has worked nicely. it seems pretty accurate as would that is below 25% seems to burn easily and above that it tends to be harder to keep it burning.
