Need I clean vat after such tests?
Is there a print out I can read and look at, instead of listening to a video? Thanks.
If anyone is running into issues with closing gap mesh inspector also has a rebuild function. You can use the free trial to fix issues for free for 30 days.
I was sent here by the channel "Once in a six side" to reference your excellent amerilabs test overview, and he was right. This should be mandatory video every beginner watches to learn how to get the most out of the amerilabs test. Thanks for making this.
these promises are insane, i hope it can deliver. id like to see how well it could take a paintball hit too and how thin it can get before said paintball breaks it.
we are very excited for others to try this resin - its been years in development for us and we are very proud of what we have achieved so far.
This was very helpful. Thanks. But, OMG, please stop CONSTANTLY moving and zooming the model. I almost got sick!
we were pretty new to making videos for this one - but we totally understand 😅
@@Atlas3D Keep up the good work. It was very clear
the issue ppl have you didn'tpoint out here is when you click and drag the center, the disadvantage is you're not scaling evenly all the time. it'll follow your lead on the cursor drag.
Wow! I have so many ideas for this popping into my head!
Looks very interesting! Is it 'soft' too? Maybe it could be used as a gasket material?
you could maybe use it for that - if you want a harder more rigid final product you can thermally cure it and it gets very hard.
I downloaded the Amerilabs updated town but it doesn't have supports. Is this an oversight or am I supposed to add supports on my own? Thanks in advance for the help.
Note that now the default units of measurement for lift speed are in mm/s and not mm/m I had to stop myself from doing 180mm/s lmao
Thank you, it is the first time in 6 years of prints that I understand the deal here , grate!
I run the Photonster and Phrozen's matrix to finesse layer times initially, as well as just "looking" at the prints on the Phrozen matrix for overall aesthetics, followed by cones of calibration to finesse lift speeds and really dial in cure times after the validation sets. then I'll finish with Ameralabs and/or Hidden City calibration cube. If I'm doing practical prints with size accuracy requirements then I like to check shrinkage using the Shrinkage and Exposure piece, or Calibration Measurement, really handy prints if you are printing models in resin that use multiple parts with keyed, flat interfaces like you get from DM stash for example.
the pin rows info was very useful for me. I thought every row should be there. Thanks!
Fantastic!
What resin did u use?
this is our latest resin, Vulcan Tabletop - planning on releasing this year.
@@WilliamTatumDo you have an approximate date?
Second for release date date
RUclips messed up, there is no video just audio.😢
it loads okay on our end - its a vertical video - that shouldn't matter - but it is running even in incognito mode for us?
Is this a new line of resin in the making!? I love it
it is ser - we are finalizing it now :D
Smart tip about thicker base of mini supports
What do I do if some parts print indicate overexposure and some indicate under exposure? The last 2 slots right above the checkerboard didnt print(the horizontal not the verticals) indicating overexposure, but the nubs on the top skyscraper printed only halfway (indicating underexposure) and the loop bit printed but I broke it indicating under exposure. The checkers, vertical slots, space needle, and angled skinny hairs all printed perfect.
Beautfully explained, currantly dialing in my newly arrived Photon Mono X 6Ks, and by the first test it looks like im running fractionally underexposed, thanks for clearing this up, want to get this beauty dialed to a crisp point, especially given im coming straight up from an OG Elegoo Mars lol, bit of a jump! Keep up the amazing work!
Cảm ơn bạn đã cho tôi một kiến thức thật sự cần thiết.
I don't have a hollow option.
Great job on the video
All the love to our vibe Master Freak on this one. He really went all out.
@@Atlas3D damn right he did
Thank youuu, I have been struggling with the fine tuning of settings for the elegoo plant-based resin grey in color for my mars 2p. ofc the original print with rooks worked out beautifully but I am amazed a calibration print isn't the first print a machine would have you do. I am new to 3d printing and a solid problem solver soo learning how to figure out the settings in this method is ideal but also . . . . fundamental to this hobby/work to be fun and sustainable for someone who really doesn't wana simply do filament. excited to get to the point of being able to make my own files with confidence in printability. Also, the calibration tool is cute and not the worst lil table decoration xD haha can't wait for the accumulation of many as I try different resins over time. gg wp
calibration model with support! what the hell!
Can you do a video that goes into some depth about removing or dealing with the green/yellow highlighted suction areas? I’m having difficulty dealing with those. Been trying to use holes to make them disappear but I haven’t quite figured out how to do this reliably. Thank you for considering this.

@@Atlas3D thank you!
I find the star ship to be better.
Starship is great, we helped Craig with the validation of that test. We like it too.
Download?
These are incredible and I’ve not lost a single part or detail. These supports pop of themselves by using a hair dryer. Blew my mind!!!!
Thank you so much :D we aim to make supports that are easy to print and easy to remove. Glad that you are enjoying them.
p̲r̲o̲m̲o̲s̲m̲ 🤪
Are you portuguese? Your accent makes me want to buy you a Coffee and a Pastel de Belém..
Where can I get those amazing 3d files?
you know other ways to fix holes in model to make it blue ? if built in one dont work
on the amerlabs website you get the file without the raised pillars - where do I get the same file you use?
I had lots of problems with the infill, trapping resin and exploding my models after a few months. Any way not to use infill but rather add internal supports?
For future reference, cause I always search it up in discord: "heavies are now 0.5mm tip diameter, instead of 0.45"
All these calibration test are unsupported, correct?
indeed good sir
can't pledge it just says coming soon
It's now live!
@@johnhaughie2067 Awesome just tried to back it only to see kickstarter only use credit cards which i don't use online. What ever happened to giving people an option how to pay, even paypal would be better.
WOW
Let's goooo
I've tried using lychee multiple times but I find chitubox much better because almost all the tools are available, it hollows models much better and it can hollow with 100% accuracy making it useful for fitting LEDs and metal rods! I can have multiple models at different thicknesses on the same build plate no problem. A quick 10min job in chitubox takes me 25min in lychee just because of the layout and how you have to follow the stages, no I find it slow and very gray.. 😆
Hi Atlas, How do you find the raised supported version of this model? only the flat version is available on their site as far as I can see. Thank you.
we had to make that ourselves, and were requested that we only link to the OG one. Sorry about that.
At around 11:12 it's a bit confusing because you are saying rows, but the way the model is facing us in the video they appear as columns. I guess if you look at from the front view then they are then rows but you should mention this and try to clear any confusion. The little details are important and less ambiguity is better.
Great explanation! Thanks!!!!
I just got my anycubic photon mono x, I’ve ran several test prints using the version of this that sits on the build plate, and I’ve destroyed the base of it every time getting it off the plate. Otherwise the model itself come out great. I wish I would have found this version first. 😊
Joined the discord buy couldn't find the file :c
This is a great video. Thank you for sharing!
