I just happened to notice this comment… my family lived on South Padre many moons ago. Before it was in any way touristy. In fact before the Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen and high rises graced that little strip of Heaven on Earth!! How I miss it!! I keep saying I’m coming back to visit… hopefully soon!
