Flag on the play - What are red flags and why do we avoid them?
I think if someone believes they hurt you or that they behaved in a way that they feel was wrong and they want to apologize regardlessof how long it took, it should be acknowledged. Doesn't mean you have to accept it, but dismissing it because you didn't remember or the timing wasn't right for you shows a lack of compassion. Imagine how hard it was to address that after 20 years.
Good conversation!
Queens of picking BAD DUDES ! Will pass on a 1000 good dudes to get to that bad one !
Huh?
Perfectly said. Omg ❤
What do you think? If the awareness and understanding isn't there...it isn't an apology to us
The shear foolishness!! You keeping notes on me… I’m out!
SWIFTLY!
If you don’t go live soon imma gonna go live from my phone the next time you cook 🤣🤣
One man told me that they and other men shoot their shot even when they know they don’t have a shot just to shoot lol they just out here doing stuff. So aggy lol
So weird. lol Why are they so weird?!
Yo. he was like nah girl you need to diet
LOL vicious
I saw on t.v. that there's an epidemic of new H.I.V cases in Houston and Atlanta. Is that the case in in New Orleans?
We're not sure! We haven't heard that.
The way I laughed at this episode!!!!
We appreciate you
The ghost texting the girl took me out! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOL a mess
Everyone is worth the truth....
Yes. They are... smh. I wish everyone acted accordingly and was honest with people instead of wasting their time!
Identify mental strongholds (beliefs that don't match the WORD OF GOD gotten through traumatic experiences, failures, abuses, and repeated offenses) that we have about ourselves, others, or anything. Use fasting, prayer, and the Word of God to overcome those strongholds.. For Example some people see their value to be determined by their looks, age, education, bank account balance etc... But all of our value was given to us by God because God VALUED ALL OF US WITH SO HIGH OF A VALUE til he had Jesus die on the Cross for us so that we could be saved and be with him for ever. Our sense of self worth is NOT determined by other people because there may be some that value us very little and some that value us very high. If that were the case then we would have a range of values. We all know that Noone has more value than Jesus but Judas Iscariot sold him out for only 30 pieces of silver. Even Jesus wasn't always treated by people according to his true self worth. Our self esteem (oerception of our value) gets torn down in our OWN MIND by how people treat us and we can start to believe what people say about us. Once we know our true value which is how God values us then if someone treats us beneath our value then we won't believe it, accept it, and we will stand up for ourself.
Good topic ladies! A lot of times we simply just have to get out our own heads. But what helps me, is talking to my tribe. Those girls will snap me out of that mess QUICK! Therapy also helped me with my confidence/worth.
The tribe holds it downnnnn!!!
Great conversation. I agree that working out and exercising are confident boosters. I would say going to church is something that helps with self awareness
Love that!!
There’s a whole documentary about the website Ashley Madison. WILD
Girl I knowwwww!!!! It’s so good
@@SisNGiggles crazy good!
There is no excuse for cheating especially within a marriage. If someone had a problem with their spouse then that person should communicate that issue to the spouse , go to marriage counseling, agree on a solution to the issue, fast and pray to GOD to heal their marriage...Marriage is a covenant before God that shouldn't be abandoned because someone feels uncomfortable or unhappy with their spouse. Forgiveness is a must during marriage because Marriage was given to us by God which is a representation of JESUS being married to the church, his followers. Jesus is married to his followers and he forgives his followers everyday because of sins. If someone bails on His/Her spouse for any reason other than adultery then that person is wrong in the sight of God. The person who wrongfully left the marriage is sinning if they leave the marriage and remarry someone else and is causing the spouse that they left to sin if the abandoned spouse remarried. This is biblical. We are changed into the image of Christ during marriage because we learn how to lovle our spouse just as they are just like Jesus loves us just as we are. If we wrong our spouse then we are supposed to admit our fault to our partner and apologize and never commit that offense again. If our partner WILL NOT FORGIVE and chooses to leave then that partner is in disobedience to God if the offense is NOT ADULTERY. Afterwards the most we can do is REPENT of all offenses committed against our spouse and then seek God's face for deliverance from our issues that created problems in tge marriage. The abandoned spouse is not to blame for the divorce if the offense was not adultery. Marriage is not always easy and is does take work...Spouses ought to contend before God for their marriage and pray for their spouse and for themselves..Noone is perfect...Cheating on a spouse is pure selfishness in every situation. If the spouse commits adultery then there is no need for to get back at the person by cheating on him/her because in that situation youre permitted by God to get a divorce so cheating is unnecessary. Get a divorce and move on..... If your spouse divorced against the will of GOD then seek God for healing of your heart, confess your sins to God and repent of all of your sins against the former spouse, apologize to the former spouse and move on.
I’ve been cheated on and I know a few fellas who’s partner cheated on them. It definitely goes both ways
Of course! Infidelity is not gender specific.
Aawwww Kecia!!! 😢 but I’m weak at your old ass titties!! 🤣🤣🤣
Yall are hilarious!!! But seriously, I’m only going to Vegas during the week cause I can’t with the young ppl and the extreme crowds.
FELT
Two suggestions that I have for a podcast topic is 'Breaking unhealthy soul ties' and 'The black wife phenomenon "
How do you guys deal with breakups when its not mutual? What to do when youre still in love with your ex? Ive read the following books to deal with the lingering emotions of unfotgiveness, anger, rejection, romantic love: 'breaking unhealthy soul ties' by Bill Banks, 'Emotionally healthy spirituality' by Peter Scazerro, and 'Bait of satan' by John Bevere.
Great topics ! Too much to unload here but at the end of the day , you can’t want a person more than they want you, even if it’s not mutual you have to respect that other person’s feelings. If they wanna break up and not matter how hard it is , sometimes it’s better to break up.
You should also post your podcast videos on your youtube page so it gets more traction
Thanks for the suggestion!!
The guy that said that he don't date women past a certain age is clearly toxic .... He has a right to date who he chooses but to say that certain women are scarred and wounded is typical of verbally abusive men. Those type of men are insecure with low self esteem so they try to tear down other people's self esteem. This man apparently has a 'baby momma' that's the same age as his daughter. Look at his mind set. He's trash. He disrespected a young woman by getting her pregnant without marrying her. Clearly something is wrong with the condition of his heart so he loves tearing down women of all ages...who wants an older man that's still not ready to be settled down and married. How can he be a Godly man? He's evil....
This is both men and women that like the control
Are yall gonna talk about interracial dating. A lot of black women are finding good men outside of their race...
Yes! Great topic. Thank you!
I've always refused to date younger. Maybe I should have given those guys a chance.
Girl give them men a chance. They might surprise you
I’ve dated older, younger, and the same age…. The older was very much about taking care of me but the down side he acted like my decisions were less than his and tried to take over so he had to go! Younger 🤦🏽♀️ wasn’t suave enough.
Oh no--- I don't like that (acting like your decisions were less than)! Was one better than the other (older, younger, same age)? Or do you truly think it's just about the person aka age doesn't matter?
@@SisNGiggles I think it’s the person. Age doesn’t matter at all.
Yea that Marcus h marriage is sus!
Girlllll ain’t it tho !!!!
Very sus!! Lol
Another book that I've read is called How to meditate on God's Word by Samuel O. Wilson...This book is good to help teach how to properly meditate on the Holy scriptures as God intended...
There are some anointed books that helped my mental health tremendously: Battlefield of the mind by Joyce Meyer, Praying God's Word by Beth Moore, Breaking unhealthy soul ties by Bill banks, Emotionally Healthy spirituality by Peter Scazerro(the book bundle and the course videos that are available on youtube) ,and the bait of Satan by John bevere.
Thank you for sharing these resources and always supporting!
Reading the bible is a form of therapy because each Word is true and it's GOD talking to you. It helps to get your thoughts snd beliefs corrected so that they are truth instead of an output of our experiences and environment which could happen to our thoughts after we experience trauma. I like to read the Bible as a form of therapy...m
That's awesome. Connecting with God is a great form of therapy! We encourage everyone to explore multiple ways to take care of their mental health! There are even therapists that focus on a spiritual approach!
Kecia we shouldn’t have been listening to Champagne Room lol! But Party All the Time a bop
Zodiac signs are a joke. If you refuse to date someone because of their sign you're potentially punishing yourself for no reason. Only dumb dumbs punish themselves for no reason.
The Aries AF tshirt 😂
That’s my birthday!! February 4th and Tabitha Brown’s birthday 😊
Awww that's cool!!! We love Tab!
I definitely remember that song! That use to be a bop 🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Hi ma'am
Hi!
Bruh not fat girl Fridays 🤣🤣🤣
those are the best days!
Here are a list of traits that I've experienced from a partner that were toxic: victim mentality, backbiter (talk bad about partner behind back) , user (constantly asking for money and my personal possessions) lazy, and constantly criticizing and putting me down (verbal abuse showed that I wasn't accepted just as i was
Those a pretty bad! We hope YOU HAVE BEEN SET FREE!!
I’m weak Kecia! 🤣 My mom doesn’t answer her phone in the casino either lol
Girlll. But why they do that?!
Hello Can I talk to you?
That Daria shirt for the W.
My parents were the opposite. Divorced shortly after I was born, but by the time I was a teen they were best friends. Took road trips together and everything, without us! My mom even took care of my dad after his strokes as an ex wife. I wish they had remarried before he passed so we could celebrate them.
I love that for them. And so sorry for your loss. 😢
I was thinking about trying to start a business but I've been having dreams that leads me to believe something devastating is about to happen to our economy...I feel like God is warning me. What do you guys feel about getting under the protective umbrella of a corporate job but doing my business as a 2nd job to stack up my savings....I feel like the window is closing for access to a corporate job. If a great depression happens then corporate jobs won't be easy to come by....
Having a corporate job while pursuing your own business is a smart idea. We both had that cushion before we stepped out on faith or for Kecia , laid off. There is nothing wrong with taking that route. Go for it !!!!
It’s not for the weak, but it’s definitely worth it!!
Agreed!!!
Great conversation, ladies! I am 53 and had to distance myself from my mother because she wouldn't cooperate, she won't listen to me and my needs. I had the loosest boundaries that a daughter could have UNTIL I met my now husband seven years ago. Now she doesn't like him and has tried to send many of her flying monkeys to try to get me back in 'my right mind'. I discovered the term "MotherWound" recently and working my way through my MotherWound. It's a journey.
We wish you well on that journey!! Healing is everything!
MotherWound. Thanks for that. I dont know what it means yet but it sounds like it would fit my situation. Lol
This was a good first episode!
Thank you so much!!
I’m not judging now, Killa 😂! But can we get a discussion on what the people want to know, respectfully 👀?
What's that?
Yall got this!!
Thank you!
