You didn't leave the personalized plate with her? You should take them back when she takes a ride, Just for wall hangers.
What dumb ass takes a car thats been sitting for 30 years and try to roll it over with the starter? Apparently these two are the answer. Always pull the plugs pump in some blaster or other lube, change the oil, pull off the valve covers etc. Before ever trying to roll it.
Thank you for watching!!
The lowlife just had to get the widow in her distress for a grand, and he even tried to get her for more than that! It's not up to her for you to "break even" after the car is restored and sold..
You gave me a good laugh!! Thank you for watching 😂
What’s happening with the Corvette ? You have a great channel 👍👍👍👍
Very cool 🤙 I grew up in a 68 vette white/red with 280z headlights. I learned to steer in that car lots of lap driving lol
Congratulations number machining. 👍68 .sweet 😊
Thank you
Love it when I run across a kindred spirit!
Thank you
Its a nice car... once you put at least 50k in it. This is a piece of junk.-Paint, chrome, interior completely gutted, motor rebuilt, new gas tank, brake lines, gas lines, shocks, all weather stripping, and thats just the things off the top of my head.
I’ve got most everything done and parts refinished motor cost was $5500 I’ve got around 35k in it now..
Nice production with your videos, looks like Discovery or history channel tv shows
Thank you!! More episodes coming soon!!
No more videos of the restoration, been 10months
Next time, take me with you, that's my dream
A real mouse motor!!!!!
Yep..a P-51 Mustang would be good with a jet engine but you just don't mess with originality.
One of these guys that puts lipstick on a pig and calls it super model. If you're look'n for junk you're on the right channel.
Thank you for your kind words..
You have to be a pink Subaru owner. To call this a pig. Such a follower.
Is there a part 2??
Yes there are 6 more episodes coming soon
It has a smog pump. It isn't a 68. Maybe a 71 or 72.
I just sent you guys a message about an LS6 I know about. It is sitting right next to the one I bought been there for the last 40 years
I just bought a 69 Corvette barn find. Paid the guy $2500.00 for it. It's a 350/350 with a m21 transmission. It had been sitting for the last forty years.
Wow that sounds like a great find..
@@darroncheney637 It truly is. It's a bit rough but the body is straight and the engine is complete. Waiting to get it in my name to invest any real time and money in it. I have a couple of videos on my page of you're interested in seeing it.
you can put lltile of bit oil in the motor and turn it over
It had a stripped timing chain.. I completely rebuilt it all new parts and I ran it on a stand to break it in and it sounded great..
I'll bet if she stuck to $12.5 she would have got it. She could have vacuumed the car really hard and got $15.5 for it.
I would have put some Mystery Oil in them cylinders and try to free that motor up and hear it run. That's going to be a really nice car!
What a sweet lady.🙏
so nice
amazeing car for sure
ty for trusting youtube fam for this god bless you
i always have love corvettes too
I feel so much for Barbara pain. Such a great, sweet lady. I love the blue color. God bless Barbara and Bob
I feel for her I hope when I'm gone my daughter will do the same thing Corvettes are made to be driven and enjoyed
I wonder if one of those astronauts picked a L 88
Cold noses
Did they check the oil before trying to turn it over? Should put some in the cylinders too, and leave the plugs out.
Yes we checked all that first..
@@darroncheney637 Is it still in the works? It's been awhile since the last video. I saw a C2 Vette when I was a youngster, and I've been obsessed with them ever since. I've been to the factory tour in Bowling Green, and the National Corvette Museum. 👍
Yes it’s still in the works .. my guy that videos wife had a baby so it’s put us behind a little.. I’ve completely rebuilt the engine it had a bad timing chain gear,, the body is ready for paint and having the frame powder coated soon.. thanks for watching
He doesn't realize? He's probably been wrenching since before you were a gleam in his eye. Let him put an LS in his OWN car...swapping the engine will devalue the car.
The C3s were Stingrays but the C2s were Sting Rays.
350 horse 327- that’s what I’m talking about💥👍
Yes sir!! It runs strong I completely rebuilt it back to original…
Nice find. Looking forward to seeing you guys work on it.
hope u stopped at a car wash to vacum those dead mice outta of inside and the nest under the hood ect before taking them home
WOW! Just stumbled on the barn find video and this one... but 6 months ago? I can't imagine what all has happened in the last 6 months! Such a cool car and cool FIND! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! More videos please!!!!
who knows. they may be finishing the whole damn project before they post it lol
I feel her pain. I've lost many loved ones and I sincerely hope that she gets to see this car restored to driving condition and know that it would make her late husband happy.
I had a '68 Corvette (non matching) with a 350 built by RHS. It had ported heads and a 292 cam giving 1/2 inch lift. I was told when I bought it that the engine made between 375 HP and 400 HP. It was the same color but was a T-top coupe. Taking the tops and the pop-out rear window off/out made it like driving a convertible. I really miss that car! Sold it "for a song" during hard financial times. ☹
I'm sorry I like a good Corvette revival but I can only make it half way thru this one. The scripting smells as bad as the mouse party must.
Thank you for watching!! Maybe you will like some of the upcoming episodes!!
This campy scripted piece of work has to be a Motortrend or Discovery channel or something. 😢
It's not! I'm just a independent filmmaker who is interested in classic cars. I film for a living. I'll take this as a compliment though! (No script, just improvised). I wish i was good enough to write scripts lol.
It’s a survivor!! No way would I change it!
Great episode. I love my Mahogany '78.
We need more videos. I absolutely love the channel. But so much waiting is hard. Love it tho man. Plz get us some more cool finds and videos soon
I OWN A TORCH RED 1977 CORVETTE, I SUBSCRIBED AND HIT LIKE, I WILL WATCH ALL THE VIDEOS YOU PRODUCE ON C3 CORVETTES, MY 1977 CORVETTE WAS MY DREAM CAR, FOR MANY YEARS SINCE 1977.I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL LOL..
This poor lady, I feel for her. But I must say, I would love to have a ‘68 corvette,it’s a dream car, especially a convertible.
68 international blue (978) with dark blue interior (411) with hard top and 327 cu in 350 horse 4 speed. There were never many made, most of them if blue were light blue and lighter blue or black interior. Stealing it at 12,500. Robery at $10 k. Should be a shamed of yourself.
That's Le Man's blue. International was darker
68 corvette with 350 produced 9440 units. Not rare.
Also, this is how direct sales work. What you see is all the auction, ebay, 3rd party sellers with Markup. I just bought a 1960 corvette body, all the chrome, SS, no engine/transmission/suspension/frame for $8000 direct from a widow. It will cost me $70K for a resto-mod on a corvette correction frame, LS3, 4R65 transmission, all new suspension and the car will be worth $150K. I'm also finishing a 68 original 427 Tripower coupe and it will cost me $30K for that. Its a 3 year project.
@@jonathanp6671Ok you I’ll agree after seeing this again on a bigger screen. It’s hard to discern color on phone screen. But international blue was not very plentiful. Light blue much more common. For some reason (maybe beat to shit) many ‘68 do not survive today as years 69,70,71,72 did.
your boy whines alot.
I was born in 1968... cool, cool ride! Btw, I just have to say that you guys are A#1 class act(s). Good job, you deserve it. Well bought and don't forget to give that nice lady a ride ; )
If a car elicits an emotional response it’s more than transportation, it’s a personal connection to something meaningful.
Fix the 327, no ls
We have the 327 rebuilt and ready to go.. it had a bad timing chain.,
