Room and pool tour. The hotel is in Majorca, a few minutes walk from the beach and promenade, plenty of shops and cafes along the beachfront. We were in the adults only section. The hotel is in Rhodes, Greece. The room number was 3012, it wasn’t advertised as having a sea view (room type in the video title) but it was a fairly good limited view of the sea. Hotel Riu Gran Canaria. Says garden view but you can still see the sea, maybe not in all of them, we were just lucky (request beforehand for a high floor for possibility of pool / sea view).
Peaceful, spotless, good food and Rhodes has so much to offer. Highly recomend this as a lovely place to rest and recuperate!

wie viel habt ihr bezahlt wenn ich fragen darf. Ich überlege nächstes Jahr auch mit dem privaten Pool, aber jetzt sehe ich die Preise sind sehr hoch
We paid £1465 per person, went in May last year. I can’t remember how deep the pool was but I could stand up in it. You could email the hotel and ask. Definitely worth the extra money getting the pool, it was a good size, and you can walk along the edge to get to the pool bar and bring back drinks 😁

How deep are the swim up pools
Difficult to remember, maybe around 1.3 or 1.4 meters. If it’s important you could email the hotel and ask. We do that with a lot of the hotels we go to

Hi Rob, would you say that this villa type would be ok for 2 adults and our 18 year old daughter. We're not bothered that we're all in the same room for sleeping, but space wise, is it big enough? Is the location of this villa good in terms of snorkelling direct off the beach, and also reaching the adult only pool and bar? Thanks :-)
Hi, yeah it’s big enough for three, it felt bigger being there than when we looked at photos and videos beforehand, I assume you’d have to request an additional bed, or use the indoor daybed. I had a go at snorkelling off the beach outside our room, it was choppy the day I tried, I gave up because I kept swallowing water, but other days I saw people out there, probably quite good on calmer times of day. Beautiful big stretch of beach. We were close the clinic if you look on the island map, and it was about a five minute walk from the adults only pool and bar. Maybe a ten minute walk to the main facilities. You can call for a buggy but sometimes by the time they come you could’ve walked it. One downside to that villa though, there were a lot of mosquitos, I got bitten A LOT out on the decking area, and there were a lot of ants, kind of wished we’d got a water villa just because the mosquitoes less likely to hang around out there. Highlight of the trip was jet skiing for me, highly recommend it. Hope you all have a great time 👍
Hi mate going in may they say water in pool is heated and how was food
Apparently it's only heated in the off-season, although some people from one of our neighbouring rooms said they went up to use the pool at night and it seemed like it was heated. Really enjoyed the food, they had theme nights for dinner like Asian, Mexican etc but my mrs has a fairly bland standard English food preference and there always seemed to be something to keep her happy too. Great quality of food 👍

Sorry I can’t remember. If you wanted to request a room in that area you could say you want a room above the outside entertainment area facing the sea.
