My first winter camp and it was a cold one. I’m back down Paul’s aka @WanderingMonck woodland for an overnighter.
Walking into camp I felt that lovely sensation of stress melting away. I was the first to arrive and started to set up my sleeping system. I was in the Helm Compact 1 tent and found a nice patch under a clearing in the canopy. Paul arrived soon after and was also tenting. We got the campfire going, which was welcome as the temperature started to drop.
