+tommor pinon A bit old comment, but just for anyone wondering about it: Reinforce (and Reinforce Zwei, aswell as Agito in Nanoha Strikers) is a Unison Device, wich means she can merge with (though in this case more like 'take control of') the mage.
That is not fully true. Because here it is not the unison device that takes control of Hayate but the Magical defense programm Nachtwal. A unison device is there th support the mage not to control the mage.
SManuel0013 I doubt the defence program could take over Hayate by itself. It's just that Reinforce was under Nachtwal's influence.
I really need to see these movies. I love this series so much :-)
