It didn't work either. But I figured out how to do it: I put the lamp on and took it off from the ceiling mount 5 times. That's how I managed to reset it.

Mine doesn't turn on. The blinking light blinks red 3 times and pauses, blinks 3 times again. No light comes out of the strip. What's going on??

Doesnt work for me for some reason. I was using the bulb as normal, but once it "broke". It just starts showing random colours, and doesnt want to reset. Any ideas?

I got a solution: You must hold Power+Change Color Button for 5-7 sec, then the Lamp does a hard reset P.S. Sorry for my bad English skills

This does not work by using the remote control that comes with the lamp. It must be done using the power source such as the light wall switch.

I had problem when remote control didn't pair but when I reseted the lamp with this trick the pairing also worked.

After the setup, some times I accidentally turn of the switch and my Yeelight Color Bulb does not responds any more to the app. It's there a way to avoid that? I mean an "auto reconnect" feature. Thanks a lot.
