It's great that you have an 'Academy' on RUclips from the protocol itself, however it's a little hit and miss in presentation. Some more structure might be useful. That said, keep up the good work.
Hi Graph, I believe in the future of you, and came with an idea: Listening to your useful videos, I noticed the voice is very soft recorded, has a lot of reverb that doesn't really help it and is just unbalanced.. On average, how long until delegated tokens will earn rewards from an indexer? Can we find this information somewhere?

What are realized and unrealized gains?
Realized gains means you have taken profits, which is a taxable event. Unrealized gains is when your investment increases in value but don't take profits.
Once you delegate and the delegation period ends, do you need to re- delegate? To my understanding the delegation periods ends approximately in 28 days
No, it automatically compound your earnings and delegate your tokens again

Well, looks like no GRT staking for me. Way too much to keep up with, not even mentioning the gas fees. Maybe next year

Could you do a tutorial on how to set up a local node and querying with the contract in the mainnet?
Did you stake to a indexer with a 100% fee cut? Will you actually earn any rewards with that fee cut?
100% FEE CUT MEANS no fee
Maybe this works for big quantity delegators. The cost seems to high due to ETH gas fee and GRT burn of .5%. To earn a reward of 7-8% on delegation of say 500 GRT I have to spend about $20 in fees. ETH fees nowadays is worse than payday loans and these guys are talking about cutting out middle man etc. pfft.

So let me get this right a lower effective reward cut is better??? What am I missing here ? Isn't the goal to receive a higher cut for staking? and whose bright idea was to design it like this just put up an APR like all other staking sites why complicate things?

what is a vesting contract?
I'd like to propose a podcast where you talk about the token distribution. Usually when I read forum posts about projects with only 10-20% of total supply in circulation, those projects are immediately stamped as fishy. With The Graph I'm not sure though. This is too legit and the people behind it are too smart to want to get rich quick and dump on the market. I'd like to understand the decision behind the distribution. What are the team members doing with their 23% of the whole token supply for example. Of course they built the system but since this is supposed to be a decentralized protocoll it seems weird to me that a hand full of people owns that much of it. Like I said, I'm sure this makes sense, but I don't understand it. Thank you for doing those videos. You're doing great.

No, this is unfortunately not possible. You need to have a stake in the network.

One small correction: Calling release releases everything that is possible to release. You cannot select the amount you want to release.
and why releaseStartTime() shows 0 ?
I think that's because the releaseStartTime parameter was included to override the default release schedule. It performed the first release on the configured time. After that initial release it will continue with the default schedule.

Hi King Super, it was officially announced to be the 17th but that is not correct. In the vesting contract it says the tokens will unlock on timestamp 1616113800, which is Fri Mar 19 2021 00:30:00 GMT. It's the 19th.
