Insane Wet Qualifying Lap - Pole Position

This past weekend I raced at Calabogie Motorsports Park for race 3 and for of the FEL Motorsports Sports Car Championship Canada. I put my Civic TCA car on Pole for both races. I hope you enjoy watching my pole lap.

I don’t know if you see this comment but if you see it here are a little bit of tips for next time • when the brakes are failing try to turn the steering wheel like in a formation lap but just faster • the second mistake is that you were directly driving on the curb and because of that you flew a little bit in the air but a Kart does not have control in the air • the last thing is I don’t know if you knew that brakes failed but when you knew it try to go only from the Gaspedal with the turnes on the steering wheel. Than you should brake good without a brake but when it does not work than the crash at the barrier is not so hard 😊 Hope this work I’m 13 by the way

Hey glad you're okay, how do you mount your go pro, could you make a tutorial on what mount you use and where you put it?
@@ricardomontilla4620 I just used one of the stick on mount that came with my go pro and put it on top of my radiator. And then once the slide in part of the mount was on I zip tied it to the radiator.

You need to have a printed safety check list go through before you come out of your pit. I learned from experience. Forgot to replace a cotter pin in the front steering spindle. It let loose in a slow hairpin turn luckily.

I rather ride a motorcycle on track than a kart. I respect it but I feel you’ll get fucked up so bad being low on a kart going 100mph+.

you should've done something unless its your own kart, if theres a problem with a rental kart and you have serious injuries im pretty sure you could sue

I crashed at 60kph (go kart too) and I got a fucking microtear in both of my fucking back muscles lucky you got out scratch free. Bwt it takes 6 weeks to recover so no basketball for 2 months :(

Przy 100kmh nie bylo by co zbierac z kierowcy jak i karta, wiec takie bajki sobie dla dziewczyn na randke zostawcie. Jak 30 bylo przy uderzeniu to i tak bylo by duzo…
It happened to me when I finished the race the brake didn’t work and I crashed into a go kart and I went under it thankfully I had no injuries I was shaking a bit.😊

brakes can fail for sure when the tires are airborn from over shooting the corner and hitting the curb too fast..

Um…took too much curb brakes didn’t fail, the wheels have to be on the ground to work..glad your ok though, and yeah there needs to be sand or something on the runoff areas

Looks like when you took the corner you bumped the raised curb could have been any one of those that might have led to brake failure
No we found out it was a stripped bolt which cause the failure, I continued to launch those curbs all weekend without any more issues.
@@erickunzracing heck yeah glad it wasn't the curbs the last one you hit looked knarly glad you were okay, I've been wanting to get into karting for a while!

Why are vehicles like this with no protection able to go thst fast
You were using the kerb a bit too much. These karts dont have a suspension to handle such kerbs
Never mind the seat belts or the railings, why you full throttle in to the corner, you did that corner thousands of times
