@@kodyk488 On the album, the bass swells were likely Taurus synth pedals, but the transcription suggested it. Would also pull the cable in and out of the plug for a sputtering rhythm like Randy Rhoads did on his Tribute solo, until I decided maybe that was wearing it out too quickly

Used to have mine longer. The drummer in my old garage band finally went with short hair because he kept getting it stuck in the car door 🤣What I'm trying to say is I respect the commitment it takes

Very cool. I have a 4 string Ibanez at home. It’s a nice sounding bass. I’d imagine that the 5 string would have a fairly wide neck. Appreciate your feedback, tysm ❤️ I cut some of the lower frequencies below 100hz on the original track to make room for the bass. Plus added saturation and compression to make it cut through.

@@kodyk488 That makes sense. I always remember Geezer being audible on the original but I see people describe it as almost as bad as the missing bass on say, Justice for All.

I think more accurately I meant that you don't have a distorted/clipped sounded recording like the other ones I found on YT. It's clear but the bottom end is still heavy. Just real nice to find. I know what you mean by make room for the bass. I always fought for mine with the drummer back in the day LOL
