Now that my project is finally finished I can take a second to appreciate the journey lol no PUN intended.. All systems operational, minus rear brake. My classic scooter is up and running. What started out as a rusty old scooter in the corner of a garage is now shinier and faster than it ever was before. BladeZ XTR SE with Kugoo G2 Pro controller inside.

The scooter is a modified BladeZ. Tubeless rear and tubed on front. 10_inch wheels.

Not bad. I like the custom paint scheme. I recently restored a XTR-S 450 that was dumped in our work dumpster. It's amazing how much larger the volume of the SE battery compartment is by comparison. The frame rails on mine are a lot narrower, since the batteries were originally set up one in front of the other, lengthwise. I actually kept the stock electric motor on mine... it tops out at 22.5 MPH flat out with the new 36V Li-ion pack and 800W controller. The 36V10AH pack (which fits like a glove) is a JETECH-branded OEM pack meant for a TurboAnt e-bike. Never occurred to me to try swapping a hub motor; that was rather brilliant, actually. Here I was looking for an elusive MY7618 36V 600W brushed-motor (without spending a small fortune to get one from China) and you gave me a far better solution. Yours has the integrated seat mount in the frame, also, so finding a seatpost to fit it will be significantly easier than it was for mine (which requires a specific add-on mount for a seatpost). 24:00 If you ever need to replace your grip tape in the future, consider using a rubber mallet to hammer around the edges of the deck until it impresses the shape into the backing material, then use a utility knife to ride along the leading-edge of the deck and the blade will find its way through the backing material much easier, leading to cleaner cuts. Great work, you've given me inspiration for a possible upgrade path. Thanks for sharing!

you don't need a gyro on a 4wd car. you only need a gyro on a 2wd if you plan on drifting it
I think you need to mod more steering angle to drive better
I have new rubber tyres on it at the moment. Gonna keep it as a rwd touring car for a while. I also plan on putting an open diff in to see how that drives.

I think it's all in the modulation of throttle and steering together. Just like a real car.. keep blipping the power whilst u control the direction of travel. Takes a little practice

I run the savage trucks many years brother and I've never seen that roto start before perhaps because I'm in the states ..but it do the same thing..so I'm looking forward to see what u will do ..✌🏿 my brother love the content

Look like a 25. With a 4.1 If you have a extra dog bone/axel and cut it in half and pit it in a drill. If you don't have the original drill start. Just a FYI. Those are nice Clean hpi

Not sure how I stumbled upon this video but good job! It's great seeing what the car used to be capable of. Unfortunately there is something wrong with my car, and it's very slow at the moment. It's only ~5% of it's original speed, and I'm suspecting the battery is the issue. I'm looking to buy a replacement battery but hoping it's not the ECU that's the issue instead. Was good to watch that ending part of the video and see the speed it used to be. I miss that speed HAHA
