9:54 I started writing a diary in Japanese, at first I was afraid of using the correct particles, so I asked chatgpt to review the text and adjust it to something that was informal and made sense, but that was more than everything to starting and doing it daily
Does genki count as bullsh*t?
yes
Respect from Osaka, Japan.
ecco2k mentioned
you use the word 'like' far too much
its like i know and like does it really like bother you so much that you had to like write a comment about it?
同じポーランド人で私もドイツ語が嫌いで高校行ってからイタリア語を選んだ😭😭 と言っても日本語の勉強のやる気しかないからイタリア語喋れない笑
Are you living in Japanese?
not yet, still poland
ecco2k? based
i like this chuu's photo at the background
ye its pretty
No way you based motherfocker, you have that same handwriting deck as me lmao. I've finished it now and am just retaining the writing now. I'm working towards menken lvl 1 eventually, currently nowhere near but this deck has been a really important foundation. Kanji's always been fun though, it's really cool imo.
@@spaghettiking653fr mam this deck is sick literally made me fall in love with kanji
Wow your Japanese speaking is very good you even got that Japanese accent as well, like that impresses! By the way how many years have you been studying it for? 😮😃
thank you😭its not that great i messed up a lot making this i’ve been „studying” about 2,5 years
4:12 what's おっぱい doing there...🤔

@@yuenatv yoo thank u!! lov ur videos btw! you have a rly cool approach both to language learning and youtube
@@flewberi ahhh thank u thank u!! looking forward to ur videos too~~ 💪💪let's grow tgt!
for sure!!
Hey! I'm Victor Brzeziński, from Brazil. I love how you are so eager to learn Japanese you prefer more active approaches. Just like Naruto's "No Boy no Cry" song - "nanimo sezu, suwatte waratteru aitsura mitai ni naritakunainda", that kind of energy! I consider listening to podcasts also to be an active approach, because you have so fewer clues - no image, no body language - that your imagination must work a lot. Also, about kanji, I remember when I first started learning Japanese: I would create a new folder on my PC each time I came accross a new kanji, for meaning, pronounciation, stroke order... I realized, by the 150th or so, that was not the most efficient method, but that for sure was fun. I haven't had a chance to write since the pandemic started, unfortunately. :( Tomek, what kind of physical material you use the most for handdrawing? And how you choose what to write? I mean, you learn a single kanji per time and move on, or maybe you make up phrases with the ones you already know, or maybe you even write quotes from actual Japanese texts? Anyways, congrats for your success learning Japanese! 🎉🎉 Thank you for the awesome video! It really inspires us to keep learning and improving
yoo thanks for the comment! ive made a video about kanji and itll be uploaded soon but basically i use an anki deck made for writing and write on a graphic tablet or sometimes just random scribbles on paper with a pen

2:24 Seconds before the incident
I'd say the biggest tip is to actually study.
you have to be n2 at least
for what
I feel like the "wasted time" is part of the studying journey. You cant perfectly learn without it, since everyone i see making these videos says they wasted time, and even I wasted alot. But without those wasted times i wouldnt be learning effectively rn.
thats the point of the video - imagine how much time youd waste if you knew absolutely nothing about language acquisition and had to figure everything out yourself
I started by learning around 1.5k common words, some grammar point and jumped right into immersion. Started with VNs for a few days and then jumped into slice-of-life anime instead. Slice-of-life anime was sooooo easy to understand and immediately made my understanding go from like 40% to 95%. I don't share the same experience as you at all. Slice-of-life anime is extremely lightweight. I think everyone should try slice-of-life or harder to begin with and if they're a slow learner they can backtrack to some action anime.
yeah man, it's true, i agree
I'm a Japanese student living in Germany. Yesterday I was in a supermarket high on caffeine trying to make it to an appointment. The lady in front of me noticed my anxiety, and kindly offered her place as I was just buying one item. Then I said "Danke schön, ich bin beschafftigt" (Thank you, I'm busy) Then she corrected me "Dass nennt man "eile", zum beispiel sagt man "Ich bin eile"" (That's called eile (more appropriate word for busy), and you can say for example "I'm busy") That was super wholesome. I quickly got out of the supermarket and made it to the appointment. Turns out, there's nothing scary about making mistakes, and people often correct you very kindly.
dislike for using ganam style in the video
Excellent work.
Good job, mate; however, your video lacks dynamics. One can not really like the way you sound.
Oh shit, you aint native english speaker, my bad. Pretty good job then.
yeah ive been trying to focus on that but i just keep forgetting every time i click record lol do you have any tips? i reckon just a better mix would do wonders
Dziękuję, tomek

Świetny poradnik, bardzo mi pomógł w rozpoczęciu nauki!
Start learning those Chinese characters and know you are in it for the long haul.
thank u for recommending Renshuu, I had a really bad experience with duolingo and kinda totally abandoned using my phone for any kind of japanese learning apart from google translate
tbh, about speaking practice and converssation, I found VR chat absolutely amazing for that, there is sometime group of people talking to each others and I can stay around them and listen and try to understand while I can use my phone to translate words I dont understand but I could nyalso directly interact, also, people having vr have a Lot of interactions like irl and not just speaking which helps a lot, I especially love people that either draw or kinda show with their hands what they are speaking about tbh I wish I had vrchat back when I was learning english, going from comprehension to talking was really brutal for me, a lot harder than it was for dutch
Now learn katakana and hiragana and you're fluent my guy
ale dualingo może być do nauki hiragany i katakany? jako pomoc jak jedziesz gdzieś pociągiem albo inne tego typu sprawy ?
@@Sandra_3784 duolingo jest slabe pod kazdym wzgledem imo jak juz chcesz aplikacje to polecam renshuu a hiragany najlepiej nauczyc sie po prostu piszac w kolko
@@flewberi sprubuje dzięki
Honestly the most helpful japanese learning guide I've seen so far - it might not be as detailed as some, but it was definitely more useful.
amazing to hear that man
These 3 tools helped me to have fun learning Japanese: 1. The Kana app - it was fun to learn the Kana characters with it 2. A book on Amazon called 'your first 840 words in japanese'. With this I was able to teach myself the most important Japanese words in 21 weeks and it was fun. 3. A Japanese teacher who you can talk to and who gives you exercises.
Seeing this at the perfect time
