However, If you feel comfortable, someone faced a similar situation and sent the following response to the pushback email, with success: To whom in may concern, You have delayed my application by requesting unnecessary information, my Federal Type 3 Federal Firearms License Number. Per California Code of Regulations, title 11, section 4035.1 requires: " (1) Applicant's full name; driver license type and number or California identification number; date of birth; residence street address; phone number; gender; ATI number; business type(s); United States citizenship; if not a United States citizen, the country of citizenship and the federal Alien Registration Number or federal 1-94 number. The application shall also require additional information requesting responses to questions asking the applicant if he or she: 1) Is a current COE holder; and 2) has submitted COE fingerprint impressions through a live scan provider, as required by section 4032.5 of these regulations. At this point delaying my application through underground regulations has caused my rights as a citizen of California to be infringed by the department. Delaying my application may cause my ATI number to expire. Acquiring a new ATl number would cause me to incur actual financial damages due to the departments actions. Unless this issue is resolved without further issue, I will be forced to file a petition of underground regulation with the Office of Administrative Law (OAL). Their responce: "Per the California statutes relating to collector COEs, all mention that an applicant should be federally licensed prior to obtaining a COE for a collector. For example, Penal Code 26970, states that "licensed as a collector pursuant to Chapter 44 (commencing with Section 921) of Title 18 of the United States Code and the regulations issued pursuant thereto". Additional requirements require a COE. The statutes relating to COEs are identified in PC 26970(a)(4), PC 26585, PC 27670, PC 27966, PC 31700. We will be unable to process your application without verification that you have a FFL-03. Please upload your FFL-03 promptly so we can continue with processing your application." In California you do need a COE to purchase C&R.

It will be sent via email. You submitted it nine days ago, so it’s expected that they have not reached out. Give it a couple of more weeks. As long as you submitted the Live Scan, you are okay, it just takes some time.

Yep! It’s a common thing. The main offender is the Magpul magwell. Which is a shame, as it comes at a great price point. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yes, I grab them when they go on sale. I've used all magazines including magpul. Since I've only used the Taran magwells I've literally never knew this was an issue

From my observation and by swapping out the Austria baseplate to the compatible magazine, it seems part of the issue is the magazine catch cutout. So the notch on the magazine body has different tolerances. So its not a baseplate issue alone.

⁠I know it’s a lot of back up 😂. Yes I ankle carry. Glock 43x and 26 is my main carry and the .357 is on my ankle most of the time. But also carry the .357 as a short trip EDC store etc. main carry is when I know I’ll be in a larger crowd setting and or out and about for longer period of time

Tried again on a PC this time and had the same outcome.... I just uploaded another document with my ATI Number on there. Hopefully that works. I'll update once I hear something back. Edit: I got approved.

It came with 10-round magazines. No, the CCW does not exempt you from the 10 round magazine law. However, in 2019 people were able to purchase standard capacity magazines for a week period during “freedom week”.

I meant by allowing you to use freedom week magazines. My agency will allow you to use your standard capacity magazine with your CCW, if they were legally obtained during freedom week. However, you still need to be mindful of local ordinances. For example the city of Los Angeles does not allow you to have magazines larger than 10 rounds.

Please clarify. Does this tool damage the baseplate on 10 round magazines? Yes or no?

@@efreutel Mine were not damaged. There may be some minor scuffing, but most definitely not damage. I highly recommend this tool specifically for the 10 round factory Glock magazines.

Yes, standard capacity magazines altered to only accept 10 rounds are legal in California. As a side note, they do not have to be epoxied closed like in other states.

Yes! Awesome knife! I bought mine around the end of 2020 new, in the box, from eBay off of an auction. Ended up paying about $170 for. I was extremely lucky! Now they are asking about $600+ for them.

This is designed for Glock magazines. I don’t think they work for magpul mags.
