The chain tensioner is defective, all Kawasaki of this engine series from GPZ 900R to ZRX have this problem ... My tip is the tensioner from the ZZR 1100 C.

You can just remove the clutch slave and not undo the fluid pipe its saves loosing clutch fluid and making a mess.

This video shows just how ridiculous simple maintenance tasks have become. At least you can still get a few bikes where changing a spark plug takes minutes instead of an hour or two.

Why does Kawasaki have to make front sprocket removal such a painful process? It's so difficult to remove even on their 250cc bikes.
