Anyone coming to Australia thinking they'll get better life, will be in for a really, really rude surprise. It's so very expensive to just work and live here. The society is breaking down and there's a class divide between the property investor class, and the people who are perpetually stuck in hell with extremely ludicrous rental prices and other cost of living. It's a miserable place where you will get exploited by the Australian government and their neverending spending that has already gone into billions in debt (and that's just a figure for one of the states). People are constantly losing their rental homes, constantly copping the cost of moving and spending half a year at a time in money, energy, and time to to find a new rental. Just to do it again when the landlord wants to increase rent and kicks the person and or their family out. It's a society of suffering.

Australian politicians went overseas to make deals and to ask for more people from India and China to come over. So they can fake the GDP. These politicians should be in held accountable and stripped of their ranks and monetary benefits. The immigration boom is the givernment's intentional policy actions producing the result they want. Why do they need to do this? Because they overspend, and print money over and over, creating conditions only ideal to those in power and with the monopology of wealth. They are the real problem.
