So many coasters have the main drop and then try to twist and turn you in all directions. Shivering Timbers is dips dips dips dips and then more dips. Incredible! There used to be a coaster at the former West View Park in Pittsburgh called The Dips that was mostly all dips like this coaster. To me, THAT is what makes for a great roller coater!!

I miss Michigan's Adventure.

I will never forget being on shivering timbers as a 5 year old, traumatized me for yeeeeeeears about rollercoasters, until i turned 18 actually lol. Now rollercoaster are one of my favorite things to do, was just at kings island a few times last week and get a season pass to cedar point almost every year, always worth the 3-4 hr drive

Just visited for the first time last weekend. Beautiful park with great roller coasters, especially Thunderhawk and Shivering Timbers.

ok so i just went for the FIRST time and it made a good impression i liked shivering timbers was fun and id give it a nine out of ten. could be less bumpy. and plus when you are driving in the length of shivering timbers is stunning :D plus when i went on corkscrew it uncomfortable and my body has a mini seizure from it. i wish cedar fair would invest more into it though :C

2 years late but my favorite ride there is Goliath but my other favorite one is raging bull because it is a classic and it is so long and it has the best drop in the park

I just went to Michigan's Adventure yesterday... and holy shit this was a crappy, crappy park. There is nothing to do, the rides are rough as hell, the park looks sad, and I did everything I wanted to do in 2 hours. This park is just sad. It doesn't have FunPix so I couldn't get pictures, Shivering Timbers needs a retracking (Constant potholes and jackhammering in the back), Wolverine Wildcat is nearly unrideable (That new GCI metal tracked drop is amazing but the rest of the track looks and feels like I hasn't been retracked since it opened), Thunderhawk is just a crappy SLC, Corkscrew was bog standard, and their Wild Mouse is very inefficient. I will say that they have a cool Waterslide you can ride with clothes on and Thunderhawk's new theme and colours looks good, but that's it. I'm glad I had a Platinum Pass with Fast Lane and Dining so I didn't have to pay to be here, cause any amount would have been a ripoff.

Anyone else concerned with the fact that the ride on most of SFGAM coasters is not even 9 min?🤨. And this list doesn’t even include, Whizzer, which is a shame. That’s the bad thing about them being land-locked, though. Should’ve also taken out Demon and made x-flight larger. Take out the flume and V2 and place a large water coaster. And RMC or remove American Eagle. Just my thoughts tho…

I love upside down coasters but if any coaster has a drop, I wouldn’t go on it but yesterday, I finally went on Goliath. Worth the two hour wait and I hope to go on raging bull soon! Goliath is my favorite ride at great America now.
