They are selling dreams, for getting views … definitely they will make money by RUclips view, but SWP does not work for long time, a time will come when you start withdrawing from principal, if the market is not growing. So give all the facts, and don’t show always grass is green
Very confusing allocation details, not sure if it's due to video editing. His current corpus is around 22 cr (90x of annual expense and he mentioned monthly expense as 2 lakhs). But then he mentioned real estate+gold is 10% of total corpus. So 4 house in Mumbai/Pune should be atleast 8-10 cr conservatively. In that case his net worth should be 100 cr+, not just 22cr. Did he sell his real estates? No mention of that, making whole calculation very ambiguous.
Great analysis. You are right, some of the real estate properties got sold after 2015 till date and the sale proceeds were invested into Debt and Arbitrage funds. These Debt and Arbitrage funds are the source of the current STPs. These details may have been edited out.
Proud of you
this guy is great
Mutual fund risk parameter to check before investing: Higher Alpha: In the context of mutual funds, "alpha" refers to the measure of a fund's performance relative to a benchmark index, typically adjusted for risk. A higher alpha means the fund has outperformed its benchmark more than expected, given the level of risk it has taken on. For example, if a mutual fund has an alpha of +2, it indicates that the fund has delivered returns 2% higher than its benchmark after accounting for risk factors. Conversely, a negative alpha would suggest underperformance relative to the benchmark. A higher alpha is generally seen as a sign of skillful management, as it implies the fund manager is adding value beyond just following the market's movements.Higher Alpha means how much better return that the fund is giving comparing to the index that it tracks. Alpha should be higher. Lower Beta: In the context of mutual funds, beta measures the fund's volatility or risk in relation to the broader market (usually represented by a benchmark index, like the S&P 500). Specifically: A beta of 1 means the fund's price tends to move in line with the market. A beta less than 1 means the fund is less volatile than the market, indicating it may experience smaller price swings. A lower beta (e.g., 0.5) suggests the fund is more conservative or stable, typically appealing to investors who are risk-averse or seeking more predictable returns. A beta greater than 1 means the fund is more volatile than the market. So, a lower beta in a mutual fund means it is expected to have less risk and volatility compared to the overall market, which can be appealing to investors looking for stability, especially during market downturns.move in line with the market. A lower beta (e.g., 0.5) suggests the fund is more conservative or stable, typically appealing to investors who are risk-averse or seeking more predictable returns. A beta greater than 1 means the fund is more volatile than the market. So, a lower beta in a mutual fund means it is expected to have less risk and volatility compared to the overall market, which can be appealing to investors looking for stability, especially during market downturns. Beta is basically how much does the fund fall when the index tht its following falls, its it falls less than the index falls, its considered good. Lower standard deviation: In the context of mutual funds, standard deviation measures the fund's volatility or the degree of variation in its returns over a specific period. A lower standard deviation means the fund's returns are more consistent and less volatile, indicating that the fund's performance tends to fluctuate within a narrower range. For example: If a fund has a lower standard deviation, its returns are more predictable and stable, which can be appealing to risk-averse investors. Conversely, a higher standard deviation indicates that the fund’s returns are more spread out and volatile, which could suggest higher risk but also potentially higher returns. In short, lower standard deviation is generally seen as a sign of less risk and more stability in the fund's performance. Investors seeking to minimize uncertainty might favor funds with lower standard deviation.Standard deviation is the measure of valatility of a scheme, the lesser the better Higher Sharp ratio: In mutual funds, the Sharpe ratio measures the risk-adjusted return of a fund. It tells you how much excess return you’re getting for the amount of risk you're taking on, with the excess return being the return above the risk-free rate (e.g., Treasury bonds). A higher Sharpe ratio means the fund is generating more return for each unit of risk, which is generally seen as favorable. It suggests that the fund is providing better returns relative to the risk taken. For example: If a fund has a Sharpe ratio of 1, it means that for every unit of risk, the fund has earned 1 unit of excess return over the risk-free rate. A Sharpe ratio of greater than 1 is considered good, as it implies the fund is effectively managing risk while delivering returns. A Sharpe ratio lower than 1 might suggest the returns aren’t sufficiently high for the level of risk involved. In essence, a higher Sharpe ratio is desirable because it indicates the fund is performing well on a risk-adjusted basis, offering more return for less risk. Greater than 1sharp ratio is considered is the better, it shows less risk. Rolling return: Rolling return in mutual funds refers to the calculation of the fund’s return over a specific period, but instead of looking at a fixed start and end date, the period "rolls" forward. For example, you might calculate a 1-year rolling return, which would look at the return for the 12-month period ending on the last day of each month. Then, you move the period forward by one month and calculate the return again, and so on, to create a series of returns over time. Rolling returns are useful for assessing the consistency of a fund's performance across different time periods and market conditions, rather than relying on a single point in time (like a calendar year return). Key points about rolling returns: Shows consistency: Rolling returns give a better sense of how a fund has performed over various periods, smoothing out the impact of short-term market fluctuations. Helps compare periods: By comparing rolling returns for different lengths (e.g., 1-year, 3-year, 5-year), you can get a sense of how the fund has fared over time. Helps mitigate bias: It reduces the risk of picking a time frame that just happens to show particularly high or low performance. For example, a 12-month rolling return for a fund would show the return for the past 12 months, calculated for every month in the history of the fund. This helps you see how the fund has performed over time, adjusted for any market shifts or changes. It’s a great way to look at historical performance with a more dynamic perspective, helping investors understand how consistent a fund’s returns have been. Rolling return means the average consistent return for a period.

Lovely Talk , Vivek ! Very insightful , very personal & relatable !!
Common, 18 L per month as STP needs a huge corpus. While he might really have that corpus as views how do you explain us how this corpus was created in first place? Some inherited wealth included? The maths of his salary drawn doesn’t tally to the corpus. These videos create unnecessary anxiety to people if made without details like what I mentioned. Power up team, my humble suggestion, please don’t loose your credibility just for the sake of making videos. Focus on quality rather quantity.
Meaningful 👌👌
Pertinent insights provided in this video. Would connect for gaining further. Very well articulated.

Vivek was my immediate senior at KJ Somaiya…Sharp and intelligent …Good to see him do well …Good luck in your pursuits .. A few queries and seeking responses : 1) Phase 4 - When you say 45% Equity, 45% Fixed Income and remaining in real estate etc, what exactly is the 45% fixed income invested in? Debt mutual funds which is similar to FDs? Or FDs itself ? 2) When you say you earn Rs 8 lakhs combined income, is that post tax ? and you invest Rs 6 lakhs of that ? 3) How is the remaining Rs 18 lakhs coming in from STP ? By cash from the sale of your real estate property minus taxes from the property worth Rs 1.4 crore ? Do you still hold 4 properties today ? or cash from sale that contributes to the 18 lakh SIP ? I would assume that this is monthly contribution will be only for X months and not in definite ? I mean until the cash remains in the STP..? How do you set up a STP ? I am trying to understand how do you end up doing Rs 24 lakh monthly investment? What’s the corpus needed to do that in perpetuity with step up if any ? 4) When you say you are at 90x corpus of your annual expenses , which I understand is Rs 24 lakhs, does that equate to Rs 21.6 crores? Of which Rs 12 crores is your 50x? 5) Do you have a website. I see that you manage Rs 25 crores AUM. How should I get in touch with you? Your knowledge on MFs is great and would like a consultation session …

The interest flow isn’t always liner it fluctuates yearly , it sure gives good avg returns over a longer period but a SWP with fixed amount each month may result in no so cool output
Excellent shankar sir❤

Very thoughtful and insightful video.!! The level of research and strategic planning he has is commendable.
Amazing insights. Very well articulated
Thank you!
Should have covered how he is getting money for stp? Real estate moving to equity. Not a very in-depth video, can do much better. More like marketing for the MF distributor.

We are allowed to save taxes from sale of a property (capital gains) if we buy a new property , only if , we are buying our first house ? Am I missing something?
Not correct
Yes, Section 54 of the Income Tax act allows saving the Long Term Capital Gains tax arising out of sale of a residential property, by investing those Capital gains into another residential property. There is no restriction on the number of properties owned by the tax payer to avail this tax saving.

Great video, but the click sound is so irritating 👎

Nice
7 cr after 20 yrs is equivalent to 1.75 cr
Best swp fund?
What about the tax which one will have to pay for every withdrawal
What about large/bluechip and midcap?
Does it mean its total years comes 40 years . Someone plz help 🙏
na samjh mein aaya kuch
By the way if you invest 20k in month for 20 years then you would have 4.8 cr not 2 cr 😅😅😂😂
How does this factor in inflation?
The maths is wrong here😂
Bro is gaining money, fame and weight all at the same time.
Good discussion
50 percent large cap, 25 midcap and 25 small cap = Multicap Fund. Or the other option is Flexicap fund, where the fund manager can invest in any cap or sector.
Flexi cap
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
@@ThamaraSchlossarek That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
@@PoulosesMooneys My advisor is *MARGARET MOLLI ALVEY*

@@ThamaraSchlossarek The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?

Inflation left the channel. Dumbass if you didnt withdraw the Money would explode defeating inflation and a great return rate
