The omlette is the only thing that looks better. Everything else is a LOT more realistic in SIMS 2 also the preparations make a lot more sense.

I haven’t played The Sims 2 in years but looking at the differences, taking utensils out the drawers and cabinets, displaying all the ingredients, the steam coming off the food, it’s clear the Sims 2 did it better. Also the Sims 2 food looks better.

Yep can definitely tell the sims in the sims 4 love to juggle LOL. The sims in the sims 2 have more detailed animations. They open the oven door and pull the tray out. The sims 4 it just magically opens and closes.... Can definitely tell the love has gone with this series... No attention to detail what so ever.. Here's hoping Life by you, or paralives kicks arse!.

Sims 4 team, who the fuck seasons their Turkey mid cooking like that?! Basting yea sure, but sprinkling salt and stuff every 30 secs? Not so sure. I’m now 100% convinced the entire dev team consists of aliens in disguise trying to mimic human but spectacularly fails at every attempt judging from the animations shown in this video 👽

I only let my sims make salad in ts4 because its the only one where the animation makes any kind of sense

It’s like they downgraded everytime they realest a new sim gen. Why take away? Instead of adding more?

The fact that each dish had a different type of prep and even prep with and without food processor was different would blow my mind as a teen. All my Sims would have max cooking just so I could watch this ASMR cooking they would do. If your sim has higher cooking stats they would cook fancier meals by themselves :)
