When I lived in Jaco, (last Century, lol), there was a Law, "No buildings taller than the palm trees", so much for that, Pura Vida.

Thanks for sharing the status of Costa roads and progress.

Any chance you could do a tour of the southern end of the beach. There are a couple of smaller private builds there right on the beach near the surf school as well as the larger condos at the south end. Love to see the beachfront builds.

i believe more like 55% of incomes comes from tourism but none is reinvested it all goes in govt. employees pockets while screwing the locals.....any word on what became of those apartment towers coming into the north end of jaco that have been abandoned for maybe 20 yrs incomplete...i've been going to c.r. for 14 yrs and it's been the same
