Hi doctors , I am from Pakistan. First of all I really loved this post cast /webinar session providing fair comparison btw USA nd Australia.. Plz consider this suggestions in next session if possible.. 1) Obviously the good internet connection. 2) There should be slide or bullets on screen showing numbers nd other relevants to avoid any query. 3)Study sources briefly . 4)USA match process briefly. 5) Yearly comparison how you grow in both pathways, after reaching your dream destination . 6)How to deal with clinical gap nd what are the options to relieve that especially for USMLE. 7) Pathways to switch btw USA nd AUSTRALIA. 8) Validation of these exams in other countries. 9)I would appreciate USA guys to be more expressive 😀. Australian healthcare system is way better compared to US healthcare system Dr.Rajat . Thanks for your info . Pro's of Australia - 1. Salary difference between a consultant in usa vs Australia..by marginal in lakhs thats it ( INR conversion ) . 2. They value our specialist degree and the experience we have whereas USA if you are a top most consultant in India , u have to go through the residency again.. im ok with licensing exams. In Australia too we have to climb the ladder as a specialist but things are better compared to USA as a specialist. 2. Gun laws are way refined after Port Arthur massacre in Aus . US is a land of guns , i can live with snakes and spiders in Aus , way better than USA. 3. Travel time to india via flight is almost equal to a a long distance train i.e 12 hrs ( ex. Hyderabad to bangalore) than from USA which takes 28 to 30 hrs average . 4. Climate in Aus is almost similar to India . 5. Australian coffee tastes way better than USA . 6. Australian health care system values experienced IMG's. whereas USA doesnt. Pro's of USA :- Plan for Australia 😂
