you forgetting to turn the obnoxiously loud tumbler off before recording a video about tumbling 😂 youre so precious, i’m trying to get back into tumbling after learning the hard way that my rocks were not the same hardness and my precious little peacock ore was annihilated. thank you for all your advice and tips ma’am:))
Awww, your poor peacock ore! So Peacock Ore does not tumble well at all because the beautiful colors are on the outside of the rock only…if you tumble them it will grind all of the colors off! I am so sorry 😞 I am so glad this helped and please let me know if you have any questions along the way! 🥰
Where is the next part of this?
👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💎🇧🇷
Those rocks are beautiful. Subscribed!
Best advice on tumbling for beginners ever.
I am glad this was helpful!
Found you through that group, I'm relatively new to the group and think it's the best on Facebook. Thank you for the videos.
Oh yay! So glad to hear that!
Do you have to burnish in between, I went to stage 2 but I did scrub with tooth brush and rinse thoroughly before but didn’t use borax, I since now after work today got some borax , thus I will use from here on out!
If you are staying in the same stage, you don’t have to! But moving from one stage to a new stage, always! And I always scrub with a toothbrush as well when moving one stage to a new stage ☺️ you don’t want grit or polish from the previous stage to contaminate your new stage in any way!
You should be okay this time since you cleaned the rocks, but remember burnishing is not just for the rocks, it’s for the barrel too!
Ok so after seeing this, I learned so much on when they are ready to move to stage 2. So, my question Is, if I have rocks that went thru stage 2 that I think maybe should go thru stage 1 again, can I add them to a stage 1 batch?
Absolutely 🥰 When I first started, I had rocks I did through the whole process and at the end of stage 5 I was unhappy and started them in Stage 1 again. They can go back to Stage 1 at any time 🥰
Thanks for sharing! We've been researching tumblers.
