Everything looks good. I changed the piece. It is hexagonal and looks good and it still keeps blowing warm air.

Do you know if replacing the yellow type-B one beside it helps when my 2019 model changes airflow from vents only rarely and sometimes it feels like not one vent is open? Blower motor speed and temperature changes work normally.

Hey bro, did you end up using the plastic welder for this? Seems like you have to weld some new plastic for the screws to bite into

I was looking for a way to remove just the part above and you gave it to me. thank you friend, now I have to think about a repair because I have visible cracks. maybe putty and paint or self-adhesive vinyl or like you if I find a professional. The screws that you used to put the panel back together, were those short short screws so it doesn’t come out on the other side?

Before you buy a new blend motor. Remove the existing motor and look closely at the WHITE HEX DRIVE thats attched to the blend door. If it has cracks that means the blend motor is skipping and not turning the door completely. And see if the flats inside the hex is rounded out. Then you have a new problem.

Great Video , I wonder if they sell that piece individually online. Shops around me are quoting too much for the job of wrapping them.

My white connection is stripped out. The actuator works fine but it just spinns in the hole. Has anyone figure out how to fix that stripped part? Dealer wants $2600 to replace the whole air blender box. They say they can't just replace that connector.

where did you purchase the motor? was the old motor not working at all? how much was the motor?

you CAN remove the floor duct with out removing the bad to the bone screw. the vent duct can be pulled out some and lowered to access the actuator motor.

What is the difference between the type B and type A motors? I’m trying to fix my issue with my drivers side heat not working. My rear passenger one doesn’t work either but my front passenger one works. Please tell me which one I need to replace. Thanks.
