Ridggid 18V Weed Whacker String Replacment
Venho deixar meu comentário em português, adoro a marca, sou eletricista e me ajuda bastante ao subir escadas e levar todas as ferramentas que preciso. Um abraço do Brasil.
Thank you brother, you helped me a lot, a hug from Brazil.
After using the trimmer more, would you buy it again or go with something else (M18, Dewalt, Ryobi or EGO)? I wasn’t a fan of the blower. Not enough juice in comparison to the 20/18v Dewalt but it wasn’t bad… just not great
Would definitely buy the trimmer again, I feel like the blower is a waste. I use it because it’s there but would not buy another one
That metal is dented up everywhere 😂
That does fix it but on mine I found it the plastic retainer clips broke that hold the pivot pins on the sides of the yellow snap clip which were causing the spring to be functionally useless.
When you are mowing along the wood line and you see the bees swarming the glass, you really appreciate that cab.
Good video! I am looking at getting one of the TYM's also now that I found them today. From the information I have found so far they seem reliable and that is what I need, since the closest dealer is 335 miles away from me.
One con (negative) is that you can not use your tonneau cover (or other box covers) with this setup.
I’m wondering if I can just slide them into the square holes. Guess I need to find the inner tubes measurements. As to not interfere with tonneau cover. I just want it for rod and reels.
I love the gray and orange!
👍👍👍
Any chance you could do a follow up on this video where the sun is not backlighting your box? Hard to see the build details.
Here it is Ridgid Charger Box Update ruclips.net/video/HA2CFlS-DwE/видео.html
Where in West TN are you ? I was born and raised in the Mason/Stanton area, more specifically Keeling .........
I’m around dyersburg
So what if I have string still stuck around the spool, I can’t thread more sting through the two holes because the string in it is in the way
The Load capacity for this ladder rack is 250 pounds
Buying my first one..or i will go for Zetor or Tym cant wait :)
Si you have links of what you used. Thanks. Great idea.
Good evening. I would like your links to your products. Brief case holder, fan and vents. Also the plug you used at the bottom on the side along with what you used on the front for usb. Thanks great set up
Very nice!
You’ll DEFINITELY want a cab up in the NE like I do when I’m clearing snow in -4.
Really cool
Thanks, you should Check out my upgrades video for this box
@westtnliving2222 doing that now
Thank you for that tip! I was just about to throw my pouch away.
Glad I could help!
can you put it on the rolling cart only- so its a rolling cooler?
Not that I know of.. I’ll have to check
If I thought I would need a dealer's help in maintaining or repairing a tractor, I would not be buying that tractor.. All my cars and trucks are Toyota--I've NEVER been to the dealer for repairs in 30 years. I could care less about convenience features--if the tractor breaks down, I won't be using them anyway. While everyone makes some lemons now and then, I've heard Kubota's are pretty similar to Toyotas, so that's what I'll most likely be buying. Plus I've heard some horror stories abut getting parts from TYM, and warranty denials too.
Good for you man.. I hope your stuff never breaks down.. not all of us are that lucky
How do you adjust the tension on the pole saw ?
It’s on the other side of the bar. It’s actually on the face of the saw. Facing the same direction the bar is. It took me forever to find it.
Thanks dude
Happy to help. Thanks for watching
Flat out brilliant.
Thanks my friend!! It’s very useful thanks for watching and commenting!!
Am i the only one who had a problem with the orange piece stripping so bad that i can no longer use that tool to wind the string into the head? It took a year or 2, but i am trying to figure out how to wind it up now. Before though was so nice and easy!
I never had a problem with the stripping out. I typically do it by hand because I never run out of string when it’s convenient lol.. thanks for watching!!
I have a 92 c3500 with the 350 in it and I couldn’t imagine pulling a tractor. It just doesn’t seem like it has that type of power. Lol
I am surprised to how much power the 350 has in it. I’m sure it helps that my truck is geared super low. Top speed is about 50 mile an hour loaded or empty. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
This is amazing work! I'm getting my pro gear next week. Might try this out.
If you like that video, check out this one. It is an update that I made to my charger box. A couple of things that made it even sweeter. Thanks for watching. Ridgid Charger Box Update ruclips.net/video/HA2CFlS-DwE/видео.html
Can I suggest growing your (RUclips channel)?
What I like about your pricing, once word mouth gets out about how reasonable you are, you should do great. God Bless!

Sorta disappointed in ridgid, have been a ridgid user for a long time, with a little more thinking or design ,could have been so nice
Agreed!!! It’s ok but could have been a lot better. Thanks for watching !!

It was great to see you actually using the tool in a real world application, instead of just digging one random hole in the middle of a yard like most other reviewers do. A word of advice to make the use of this tool less strain on yourself and less wear and tear on the electric motor. If you would lift up the tool about 2/3 of the depth that you have dug, and back down, while still spinning, every 6 inches or so of depth, to help evacuate the dirt more effectively, throughout the entire whole dig, there will be less dirt staying in the whole pinching and binding the bit while you are digging. That will result in the bit spinning more freely. Which results in much less of trying to twist the tool out of your hands, and much less stress causing heat in the electric motor that reduces the life of the tool. If you do that, you will be much less worn out at the end of the day of using any earth auger. And, there will be alot less loose dirt left in the holes to fish out by hand or with a different tool like a post hole digger, after you use the auger. Have a great day. And, thanks for making this video showing the effectiveness of this tool. Hopefully someday soon, Ridgid will be smart enough to offer this in a "tool only" option (like they do for almost every other tool but this one), to bring the price of the tool down for their customers who already have plenty of Ridgid batteries and chargers, who don't want to waste a couple hundred extra dollars on the included low end batteries and charger that they don't need.
Good advice, thanks for watching!!
Sounds cheaply fair. Lol.
It ends up being that way sometime a lol. Thanks for the comment.
Great video I've been struggling since my bed was destroyed last month in a storm. My dream truck bricknose long bed dually. Hadn't even gotten it to yet. inspection yet. Lots of work ahead of me
I love my flat bed.. it ain’t for everyone, but I’d totally go with it again if needed!! Thanks for commenting
it made perfect sense to me,thank you.

I would suggest changing the title to "How to Finish a Metal Roof Ridge Cap."
That’s a great idea, I never thought to write that. Thanks for the comment!!
@@westtnliving2222 It took me a few moments to figure out what you were doing.
That definitely before purpose lol.. thanks
Good video 😀
Thanks cuz 😁
Great video !! I recently purchased an LS 40 hp cab tractor. I looked at all the brands, and like you all the name brands were much higher. Ig and I cab answer your question about John Deere , about 55k, so you didn't miss much !! I looked at TYM,and liked it,but had a crappy dealer,so I bought an LS. And like you and your TYM,mine has been great!!
Some of those other are so ridiculous. I’m super happy with mine so far. Thanks for watching and commenting
Great idea !!! I'm looking forward to more of your great ideas !!! I liked and subscribed !!!
Thanks a lot bro,, I have more on the way.. thanks so much for the support!! Did you check out my charger box video?
Very nice project. Will have to look for those vent covers. I would change one of the cord brackets so it could swivel (single screw mount) and release the cord all at once and wrap the cord in a figure 8 to keep it knot free.
That is a fantastic idea. Thanks for sharing that. And thanks for commenting.
When it comes to starting a business, I feel it is more important to get jobs. After every few jobs, you can look back on each job and figure out the real costs and if you made money. In some jobs, you will lose money, and in some, you will do well. When I started budgeting my family money, I had a bunch of money in the first few months. A few months later, I had taxes and insurance, oops. I readjusted my budget as I learned. I would also like to add that my local mechanic started his own auto shop. He was the cheapest in town. After a few years, I convinced him to raise his rate to $5 more than the other cheapest shop. He was worried but found out his regulars did not care, and he lost so many bottom feeders that gave him most of his headaches.
Great points and observations! Thanks for commenting! That advice will absolutely help us out!!!
nothing burger
Hooklift over everything.
Yea,, that would be awesome!!!
