I think your title should’ve read 5 free patterns and easy to make because the way the title was worded it makes it seem like it’s free to make these gifts which it is not because we still have to have the materials or buy the materials.

Fabulous ideas! As a quilter, most of my sewing n projects come from my extensive quilting cotton stash. I so appreciate seeing ideas using something totally different: faux leather, felt, vinyl, canvas,and so on. I never think of those and they really can elevate the project. Thanks for sharing.

I think the color blocking is a good idea for the first fabric. I think the second would be a good jacket. Like a moto jacket or a hip length trench. I agree with your choice for the last piece. Don't wait for an event to enjoy what you love!

I love the minerva fabric and definitely would vote for it. I made a dress using that same fabric design though I think my substrate was linen viscose or something like so.
