i need one of those detail sanders
Thats the Milwaukee M12 multi tool that I use. had it for years, its very good!
@ yeah I have a nice set of Milwaukee I just need to get a detail sander and I think I’m good for a while
Can’t even see idiot
Thank you a million, last year was waiting for a month apartment maintenance team to fix it 😅 I did it now my self 💪
Pleased it helped! Thanks for watching and the comment.
Hi do you repair flat roofs?
No. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We were hammered here in Ayr Haydn,my Daughter had two fence panels blown down and we have trees down all over the place as well as damage to property, worst storm for years and I'm sure there will be more to come, enjoyable short 👍
It was probably the worst Ive seen around here! Luckily no damaged at our place but plenty of damage for other people. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Mint mush
Can you use any control unit for your boiler? Mine has blown up
There are slightly different types depending upon what type of heating system you have installed. Best bet is to find an exact replacement or take yours to a plumbing & heating supplier and they should be able to give you something suitable to replace it with.
Ok will do.cheers. after looking on line it looks like my controller is obsolete. All I know is that the boiler is a Ideal Mexico
Do you need to grease the parts?
The rear bearings are made from phosphor bronze or similar, which are supposedly self lubricating so dont require any additional lubricant or grease adding. I have only ever done two of these and fitted them this way and they are still perfectly fine. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Good video mate. Nice one👍😊
Thanks for the comment!
I have the same problem, can you tell me where can i order new parts please?
Thanks for watching and the comment! I buy my spares from Capri Calvert Electrics. www.storageheater.co.uk Excellent service and after service and genuine parts.
@@HWrenMaintenanceServicesLTD thanks
Good old Mac and Stone dont miss seeing these 😂
Ha Ha, you can recognise them a mile off! Thanks for watching and the comment!
My teacher would come an rip everything out... Not one wire secured or routed nice.... 90° bends only and not that ugly mess that goes to that switch.....
The guy knocked the copper rivet down, when it should be knocked up. Nothing was put in the undereave position,so it is a weak point of the repair and the rain can get in.
Urbis ZX1?
Yes, I think that is what these are.
How many of these do you normally deal with ? Be interesting to see more videos on these.
We dont do many of these, probably only 6 - 10 a year and most are this model that we fit. Now and again we do fit different types. If we do any different ones or ones that are fitted differently I will try and remember to get some footage. Thanks for watching and the comment!
How is the reliability on this 120hp engines? I’ve got today a 2011 scudo 2.0 🎉
This Van is deffo the best one I have had reliability wise. Its had a few issues but all vehicles do. The biggest was the turbo which was replaced at approx 90,000 miles. I had the same turbo fault again at approx 180,000 miles which I cured with some turbo spray (I have a video about this). Ive had the from 60,000 miles and now has 192,000 miles on it and other than the above, from memory the things that have been fixed / replaced on it are: Clutch, steering rack, alternator, parking sensors, door latch, and a couple of brake callipers, drop links, ball joints etc which I would probably class as serviceable items anyway along with discs and pads. I have just last week replaced the thermostat as that was playing up slightly. This van has never let me down and tbh I am reluctant to change it. I believe regular servicing helps, I do it every 10,000 miles (recommended intervals are 20,000 miles). Thanks for watching and the comment!
@ thanks for your replay, today i did a full service like you did in your video + some Wyne injector cleaner. Thanks for the helpfull vids! Keep them going👍🏼 ps have a nice newyear!

Hello wonder if you could help? I have same problem everything works except buzzer in flat so dont know when visitors are outside. However when pressing my flat number on outside panel you can hear a buzz outside and feel a vibration. Does this mean only my handset buzzer is broke? Also, could my flat number button on outside panel still fail a continuity test even if it buzzes/vibrates when pressed?
As you say you can hear a buzz when you press the button on the call panel, I would say that button is probably working ok, but I would maybe double check it with a multimeter. Firstly I would suggest you check your handset. I have had this problem on a videx system and it turned out to be a fault in the handset. The buzzer inside the handset is basically a magnetic solenoid and I found that a small metal tab which the magnet attracts and releases to create the buzz, had fallen off and was inside the handset and I managed to clip it back in and it worked fine.
@HWrenMaintenanceServicesLTD Great advice, thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Really enjoy your channel and videos.
Videx door control Hi I Have the Same Problem I can hear them but they can't hear me I moved in 2 years ago The apartment was on the market. I can't get anyone to look at it because I'm Base in Ireland however there is a company in Dublin working for ViDEX when I called them I was in shock to find out they didn't do Long Trips I'm Based in Westport Co mayo Ireland and every Time the ViDEX phone rang s I can hear them but they can't hear me the ViDEX key works but I can't till then I have to go the hole way down the stairs to open it.. I don't think it's fair that I can't get ViDEX to look at it to fix it what's the point in storing one when it wasn't organized to fix it Shurely ViDEX company in Dublin can do better to come to mayo to set it up here too so I can ring then to fix it.. any idears in how to fix the problem who ever is reading this message.... Thanks
Is there a management company that looks after the communal areas? Thats who we work for when there is an intercom issue as it is 99% of the time it is a fault on the call panel which is communal, in which case they should be responsible. If not, I would contact a company who deals in access control or even an electrician may be able to fix it, you dont need to deal with videx directly. As long as you can order the spare part you require, its only a case of connecting the wires back up and if they are marked up as you go, its fairly easy.
I can hear spurs jangling.
Brilliant ! Cant believe manufacturers make it this awkward to change a couple of bulbs ! Thanks for posting, as I just couldn't see where they were. Once I knew, from your video, it was easy to remove them. Been buggin' me for ages. Thanks so much.
Thanks for watching and the comment! pleased it helped.
Nice is that a mk 2 golf looks great
ha ha, not quite! LOL
Hi, I realise this is 2 years old but thought a little tip might help. Before removing the front plate, just go around the edge with your Stanley knife, that will sever the paint connection and there will be no paint breaks.
Good tip! My little bit of damage was due to the dry lining box moving and breaking a bit of plaster away, rather than paint peeling from the socket. I always make sure my sockets are removed before painting so I dont have to do that (and it makes a nicer job). Yes you are correct as I would say 99% of sockets and accessories are painted around so a knife blade around them first is definitely a good idea! Thanks for watching and the comment.
Class transformation there mate 👍🏻
Well done Jack, best of luck when you eventually sit your practical,I've been in Sunderland loads of times,my son stayed there when he was with the Newcastle Vipers,he also stayed in Newcastle and Cullercoats before he moved to Sheffield,my legs were going all funny when you were up that ladder and looking up and down, felt as if I was up there with you 😂 can't believe someone would drill a whole in the wall to feed a cable and not seal it,pure laziness,,another great video Haydn
Thanks! Jacks instructor said he will be ready for his test mid December, but at the moment can't get a test until April! Hoping for a cancellation well before then. We have a few more Furniture Village stores opening in the new year in your "neck of the woods", various areas of Scotland so would be ideal for jack to share the driving. Yes, many times I see cable holes not sealed around and like you say, pure laziness.
Great video Haydn,I doubt the last guy who did the PAT test on the light box couldn't be bothered with any hassle and just let the high reading pass
Yes, there is defo no way that could have ever passed. As always thanks for watching and the comment, much appreciated!
Earth continuity- the standard says 1 Ohm- so 0.35 is a clear pass. 'Both had one wheel missing' - so move a wheel, and you have only one fail. Scratching paint off- when there is a mounting bolt to the bracket right next to it! BTY your video is strobing with your lighting. You may wish to change from fluorescents. Which is a good idea anyway.
Nice one mate
Nice video 👍
Thanks for watching and the comment.👍
Hi, thank you for the great and very useful video. Can I ask when it was not turning on, were you getting power led on?
I honestly cant remember. At a guess I would imagine the power light would be on even though the solenoid wasn't working, however I cant be certain. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Great video. Well done.I have 1 for you :) 3 zones. Z1 - HW. Z2 DS CH. Z3 US CH. Z1 heats HW & Z2 (z2 two port valve motor is off). Z2 heats Z2 only. Z3 heats Z3 only. Any ideas. I checked everything, wiring etc. why would hot water heat rads on z2, but when z2 is called only, it doesn't heat HW, only it's own zone.
TBH I dont have a great deal of experience with heating systems so I may be wrong, but could it be a faulty zone 2 two port valve? i.e the mechanical valve itself so although the motor is moving it to close it off, the valve itself isn't actually fully closing and allowing water to pass through it? Thanks for watching and the comment!
@@HWrenMaintenanceServicesLTD I changed the motorised valves, checked wiring just in case there was a shared neutral, making sure there is no power at all going to the valve, still no joy.
TBH I'm not sure. Probably best getting a heating engineer to look at it, but a better one than the original ones who installed the thermostat in this video LOL! When you do resolve it, I would be interested to know what the problem was.
@ I contacted the boiler manufacturer (ideal) very helpful, sending an engineer out. When I switch to central heating only, the boiler starts banging, the pressure needle flicks up and back. Only happens with central heating. I think it might be a faulty diverter valve stuck?? Maybe that’s why rads heat up when hot water zone is on. No banging when hot water zone is on. I put in new motorised valves, rearwired from scratch, all new TRV and lock shield valves, It’s wrecking my head 😬. I’ll figure it out yet!!!

Why oh why no proper wiring centre?
I know! apparently installed a few years ago by a professional heating engineer LOL!
They are a common fault in peugeot is it safe to clean using electric cleaner or put some protector in them to last longer and secondly the heater rotators get stuck at times whats the best thing to do
Electrical cleaner wont help in this situation, only thing to do is replace the bulbs. Not sure about the controls sticking but could maybe try some silicone spray on them and the cables.
Thank You for this video, this is exactly what I needed, just fixed my shower for less than 20 quid, for just spare part with postage... Good stuff !

What a transformation 🤩👍🏻
Hi I’m assuming this will only work if the back box is inside the wall? Or is there a back box that also is the same size?
Yes thats correct, as far as I am aware there are no surface boxes available for these. They will fit a one gang or a two gang back box or dry lining box which is mounted within the wall.
Clearly not 😂
Hi there, i have the same problem, but i cant find the replacement electronic card, so i have to repare it, what's your suggestions، thanks
Is your system a Videx, same as in this video?
@@HWrenMaintenanceServicesLTD no, it's ACET an italian
@@HWrenMaintenanceServicesLTD ACET system it's Italian
Thats not a make I am familiar with. Probably best off contacting the manufacturer technical support. They may be able to advise a direct replacement which can use the same handsets etc. Sorry I cant be any more help than that.
Do you really need to remove the whole bloomin' bumper, cant you jut pop them off?
I definitely cant access the middle ones as my tow bar is in the way. The two side ones are high up and can just reach them with the bumper on. Would be a bit tricky trying to open up the clips with a screwdriver to release the sensors with the bumper fitted and also the wiring is clipped. TBH would probably be more of a chew on trying to do it with the bumper on. Thanks for watching and the comment.
the upper button module is diferent from the bottom button one (circles vs squares), does this mean it was changed already for a diferent version and it works?
Yes, the new modules have round buttons.
just come across this vid, Nice one HW helped me out a treat my friend👍
