Not everyone is lonely . Only those are lonely who are less social ,hesitating ,less confident loose personality people are alone . I have friends who don't like to live in metros in Bangalore ,pune ,gurgaon and prefer work from home to save money are miser people (kanjoos) who avoid social life and friendships are also there . Specially the misers are mostly lonely which I have experienced . If you are with group of people who are spending money on cafes , restaurants ,trips ,outdoor activities then you have to spend money like them . Otherwise they will ignore you or won't like you to be with them . If you are not able to socialise in place like Bangalore then forget in small cities . In small cities you won't even find people playing outdoor sports . In fact people are more socialised in metros . That's why people love living in metros .

Lonely in Bangalore? Go have a life explore there is lot the city has to offer. Never felt bored at all.

Max ppl are outsiders who left own roots to make money , they lost thst sense of belongingness, our culture s ruined by outsiders , if u ppl feel lonely leave Bengaluru go back to ur roots

Lonely !! Really!! Get a job, follow routine, spend time with self, workout, go play sports, head sailing spa movie or sit at Park n read some books.

I found people here are not much interactive, they don’t give fuck to others to wht they do even you are surrounding by many people but not interaction which is good but have some cons as well you can’t even have chit chats regularly and here everyone thinks tht only way to enjoy here is smoke, drink and clubbing

Zero savings , high end living style with pay cheque to pay cheque , then comes the clubbing culture with fun fridays...there goes the bangalore dream ..

I'm from banglore there is a quote that goes like....lonelness feels not because your not around people it's because no one understand us so we feel lonely. Other issues different cultural people from different background clashes, racists , caste, political divided groups , all this are barrier to connect to people. Facts don't cry Any way iits best to be alone than around fake people.....fellows just be peace with yourself connected to nature 🌿🍃.

I have a looot of friends in Bangalore but still unable to meet people who live just 2 kms away because of heavy traffic. Indiranagar 100 feet gets clogged like crazy, cant even go till domlur easily

When you cant even say Bengaluru and say Bangalore, with such a pathetic effort to integrate and become inclusive, no wonder you are lonely. Learn local culture, arts, food, movies, language (if the stay is long term or permanent), then you will see a whole new exciting world unfold.

Except for a handful that were in torture/ domestic fights between parents. For the rest of us, we're living by comparing with other societies, our parents (especially the parents of 90s to 2000s born) all have created an upper middle class lifestyle for us which itself is a privilege. Let's think twice before complaining. Are we a bit spoilt? Our parents did what they could with their means and knowledge. Sacrificed a lot for us and if you really dig deep enough you'll know they have an ocean of worry for the welfare of you & me.

Its everywhere. Not just in Bangalore. We young people come out of our native homes to a metropolitan city in search of better opportunities by sacrificing family time. Even if we get married and settle in the modern city, still we don't get that satisfaction of living in our native town. My native town doesn't have Blinkit, Zomato or Swiggy instamart. But in my Native town every shopkeeper knows me and my family. The sad truth is, most of us have to accept this sacrifice for the sake of our future.

Loneliness is the new norm- this is the price we pay for independence!! Traditional societies were interdependent- also we are less tolerant and don’t accommodate people like our elders did in the past. Lastly we don’t want to make the effort out of fear of being disappointed!! But the truth is that that’s life people will disappoint you!! Learn to take it in your stride!!
