Unfortunately the pattern only shows cut 2 and needed to drive back to fabric store 80 miles round trip to get more fabric. I did pay for the pattern. Just think you need to correct the fabric needed.

Do you think a knit used for sweatshirt/jumper would work with the cowl neck or would it be too thick🤔

I can’t believe she didn’t match up the pocket! Instead of pinning Wonder tape keeps everything in place for stitching.

Hi, I wanted to thank you for the clear instructions both written and on video. I have just finished my first Pogonip and I am in love. I am a great fan of your patterns which I find well designed and easy to follow; I especially appreciate how size inclusive they are. I have been on a journey to make skii gear that fits me and I just made the Pogonip in softshell and arctic fleece to be a warm midlayer under the hard shell i made last year. So, again, thank you for the instructions and the pattern. Highly recommended.

Hi Chelsea, I finally, finally…got round to using my birthday Ilford pattern today. I am not finished but well on the way. I had no ideas how much bias binding to buy so got 6 metres, gawd..I was 4 inches short, there is so much of it. Did take time and perseverance 🎉but looks neat. I am bothered by the amount of bulk under the arms?! Guess no getting away from that. Odd question but do you think it’s possible to fit the sleeves by doing them in a set in sleeve approach? Sew sides and arm seams up first..would the pattern adapt to that? Looking forward to doing the front placket tomorrow. If ONLY I was blessed with a serger! Thank you for this sewalong.

Just made my first Dew. It quickly came together beautifully! Thanks for the tip about marking the armhole binding- brilliant! I used a mid weight jacquard knit and I love the structure. Great pattern, five + stars. I think the next one I make will be tunic length to wear with pants.

The return of the clog. Someone pointed out to me that it's a sewing community specific trend and now I can't unsee it 😅 very nice pattern, I am sure it will to do very well. The top looks like a good basic to have in several colors and textures.

I think an elongated pogomip sounds awesome! If it doesn’t suit you crop it shorter!

Could I make this from a fleece fabric?

I love this set, HOWEVER, on the biggest size, the lining is too small, and keeps flipping out, so, adjstments are needed.

I just got this pattern in the mail. I was going to make a waist coat/vest, but I thought this jacket might be a little more friendly as a first garment for me to try. It's all rather unnerving, but I've now watched your videos and feel I can probably do this - even with a lining! What weight of fabric have you seen used for the jacket? I have some waxed cotton as well as some light-weight denim, two fabrics that handle rather differently, I know. (Maybe I'll need to make two jackets!) :-)

What if you did the liner and the placket on the sleeve together before attaching the sleeve to the body of the jacket? This might help the liner stay in place more instead of being entirely free floating inside the jacket
