5 years post MSW failed my exam 2 years ago by 1 point feel so defeated. Test is 11/30 and feel doomed and don’t know where to began. I do psychotherapy now for work and the job is riding on it

I've dropped out of school so many times, now 35 and in a community college because I'm starting again as a freshman since I never successfully finished. Hey! So I am working in community mental health providing individual and family psychotherapy. I am doing assessments and intakes, and then provide lots of interventions with various modalities, and I have done case management in the past. I am currently an LMSW. I plan on working this job until I get my LCSW, and I want to do a travel job. I know that most of the positions are in hospitals, and I have seen/heard mixed reviews on whether or not hospital experience is required. I was in nursing school for a min and also was an EMT for a brief stint. I logically know what discharge planning is, and feel confident about thinking on my feet and getting trained... Just curious your thoughts on the transition from individual psychotherapy at an agency to potentially doing a travel gig. Also my whole allure in doing travel social work would only be working 2-3 gigs a year. Is that okay? I just have really low overhead and want to have extended periods of time off to take care of my partner/ family. Thoughts?

Yes , you can get some travel jobs with the BSW , depending on the state criteria. Just check with the job agency. YES it’s better to have the MSW … if you going to get a bachelors in social work , you have to get the Master to make the good money and to have more opportunities

I am a LCSW and my boyfriend is a BSN. Would you say it would be a good idea for us to travel to the same hospital and split the housing/ food cost that way? Or maybe sign maybe 3 month leases?
