After watching this video, I have realized that I can stop going back and forth in my mind if the horizontal will work for me. I could go really simple and functional on the monthly and not have it be as overwhelming as I imagined it would be. I will use my current planner set up through June but will get a horizontal this Spring for July start now. Thank you!

I appreciate all of the helpful information you share, especially the time management and rethinking planning advice. But the joy and humor you add to your content is the best. Even though I don’t plan this way in my project planner, I like seeing how someone plans differently than me. I’m a Montessori teacher who helps 9-12 year olds grow their planning and time management skills. We talk about different ways to meet our goals each week and your videos inspire me so much.

My kid and I have both got ADHD and the first minute and a half of chaos in this video is just a typical interaction between him and me 😂

I manage a social media page for a reptile expo, plus run my own business and work full time. I put meetings and plans that may be shifted by a day or two on post its and use those in my week. More permanent plans, like scheduled posts on Facebook and IG are written in and since meetings take the priority, I can cover those written notes until the meeting is done. I use the monthly for things that run over time, like ads or weekend long trips and for birthdays/ important dates.

I recently found a 0.28mm pen, that has brought me so much joy in my planning time. I use a vertical and a mini project planner- I run programs, so the project planner keeps my timelines and tasks, and my vertical plans my life and day-to-day. Question: in the sticky notes sets, could we put a pocket in the top part? For stickers, scrap paper.

Hi! I am obsessed with how this planner is laid out. Only one question: what kind of paper is used in these planners? Specifically, is the paper fountain pen friendly?

I have the vertical planner but I am struggling to figure out how to structure it for my team of 5 people. Each team member has tasks daily but also weekly and I am having a hard time laying out a consistent pattern for myself. Any help would be so wonderful -- thank you!

I should have bought this planner. I bought the Monthly Project Edition and it is awful. You get two pages for the entire month! One is the calendar and the other is a blank page. As a real estate agent I needed a weekly planner. Way too much money for something that isn't going to work for me.

I just got a portrait planner as my first LD planner and i didnt know where to put my monthly to dos... 🤦🏼‍♀️ how did i not see that big margin on the left thats perfect! Thank you for pointing that out for me ❤ I have never used a planner before so it has been a little difficult for me to know what to do

I know this is three months ago but for 2027😅 maybe purses shoes perfumes curtains to frame little lists couch tv white picket fences for little border just some thoughts for stickers. A city scape drawing cover in black and white like Nancy drew New Orleans for a cover that may be colored in if you had the need to or just keep black and white. Cities like New York with maybe a few hidden characters 😊 inside pattern would be good for this as well if not cover. Love all your planners keep smiling, you guys work so hard.

Save your stickies, and then you've got your different areas already written down to adjust each month as you go! I keep mine stuck to the inside front cover flap.

I needed this video. I have purchased FOUR Laurel Denise planners trying to find my planner peace and messed up each one and got so frustrated. (I also have ADHD and NEED to have a system in order to life and I feel so frazzled when that system isn’t working well). The part where you say to not to move in fully is SO FREAKING TRUE! That was my biggest mistake. I moved in too quickly and wanted to get everything just quickly out of my brain and ended up making a mess…but I finally just bought a portrait planner and I think this will be my Goldie lock planner! I’m so excited! I absolutely love these planner layouts and even buying other planners to try to find planner peace I’ve come back because seeing everything at once is imperative for me! But I definitely recommend doing one month at a time because you probably WILL mess up or change your mind about layouts and even erasable pens can only be written over so many times 😂
