There's one sharp black carry bag. Classic. Beautiful. Nice work
Thanks!
color scheme is great. would be interested in something like this if you were planning to list on your website in the future!
Working on it!
@@Opensealeathergreat news to me! Will definitely purchase!
Nice!
Thanks!
First
Great video, absolutely beautiful, great skill !! Thank You for sharing !!
Thank you very much!
If it was me, about 20 hours. Nice work man!
Thanks!
Beautiful work!
Thank you very much!
@@Opensealeather you are welcome! I am currently awaiting delivery from your company btw. The Topsider looks so sick.
Very nice stuff. Nice video.
Thanks!
Honestly that’s a piece of art, idk if I could bring myself to carry it and risk the daily wear and tear ruining it
Thank you!
Is there anything you use the belly for? A lot of guides tell beginners to get bellies for small projects, as it is much cheaper to get. What do you think?
If you’re just practicing it’s great. Otherwise, it’s good for things that don’t need a lot of structure. The loose grain makes it unsuitable for anything you wouldn’t want to stretch a bit.
Bom dia meu amigo!! Poderia disponibilizar outros tutoriais dessa técnica japonesa, por favor. Ela é muito interessante. obrigado!!
E possível!
Hey man! Great craft like always! Btw any tip on starting out? Such as website tips or anything?
Check out a lot of the tips and tricks videos here on RUclips. Grab some tools from Tandy or weaver just starting out. Then upgrade to higher end stuff like at Rocky Mountain leather
@@Opensealeather thank you man! I think I misworded my question too haha. I meant that I’ve been working on my craft and was wondering how you learned to set up your website and your RUclips and all?
Tease
Full video is up on the channel!
Absolutely amazing 👏🏻
Thank you so much!
We need this type of leather on the MK wallets man
Doable
Looks amazing!! Why would you stitch the top pocket then fold it to do the inside one? any benefit to this way?
Not sure I understand what you mean by top pocket. But the reason why you have to fold the wallet is because the outermost piece of leather has to be longer than the interior piece. Otherwise, the inside wouldn’t fit right when the wallet is closed.
@Opensealeather the card pockets, you did the tan (outer) one then the green (inner) one. I've always done it done the opposite way.
Thanks for the video! Great looking wallet.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome work. Making me want to break out my leather tools and create something!
You should!
I was just watching the no-stitch no-glue japanese inspired bag earlier this morning. And now a new vid again from one of my favorite leather goods making channel and leather maker on RUclips (just in general really)
Too kind:)
Great work! Greetings from a colleague from Ukraine. Special thanks for the musical accompaniment😀.
Our pleasure!
woahh no way!!! i think this is my bag, i just got it in the mail the other day!!! its amazingly high quality, ive got nothing but praise, and if you or anyone you know and love uses a laptop and paper, you should have bought one yesterday :]
yea, this is definitely my bag! i recognize the little crease on the top left strap stay. damn, what an honor to get to see it made
So glad you like it!
For the gentlemen biker in your life. It looks really good.
That video title is unhinged.
Hahaha
@@Opensealeather I was looking for a full length version! Watching it now. :)
Craftsman doing their work is always a pleasure to watch. Kudos, you make excellent leather goods.
Thank you very much!
I know he’s traced the cut lines well, but damn…the way he free-hands those very long cuts without a straight edge is amazing!
Thanks! The Japanese leather knife is an amazing tool with some practice
@@Opensealeather , agreed. But it still takes a steady arm.
Thanks for sharing 🙏🇨🇱
You bet!
Love watching this. Beautiful stuff.
These are awesome!
Glad you like them!
Dope
Saudações do Brazil. Meu amigo, qual espessura do couro você usou??? Comprei o molde em pdf e estou ansioso para fazer a minha. obrigado!!
Couro curtido vegetal natural 2.5 mm
Very nice bag! What is your cutting surface? Can’t find exactly what it is and if its better than self-healing mats. Thanks!
Japanese cutting mats from Rocky Mountain leather supply
I already see how this is going ❤❤❤
Add your videos with Turkish subtitles, I'm a close follower🙏
Hmmm I’ll look into that!
So clean!
Appreciate it!
Can you do a video of your personal EDC
Sure!
Haha that’s so cool!
Thanks!
Hell yeah, didn’t know you were over on RUclips. Been rocking my Das Offene Meer Houbei for roughly 5 years now and no wallet has come close to replacing it. Best of luck to you!
Love to hear that!
incredible 👏 👏 👏
Thank you!
Oh i like that design for them.
Thank you! Cheers!
Omg these are soo cute
Thanks!!
Stitching pony would be great to make my own. 😊
I have a video on that!
Loved going to Italy and to the leather market. But I love seeing how it’s made more. I wish I had the skill to do this. Amazing work. I want one.
Thank you! If you’d like to order it’s on our website:)
Oh the corner punches 🤤 my husband was sweet and tried to buy me corner punches...I don't have the heart to tell him he bought belt end round punches so I quietly complain to myself when I have a corner to cut out since he thinks he solved that issue for me.
Ha that is cute. I didn’t have a set til this year. 9 years in business ha
belt looks sick too lmao
That was very interesting to watch. A great craftsman.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Oh that logo! It's YOU guys whose items I've been seeing on reddit. Very clean work!
