i don't have those instruments
I had used a free VST which is not included in the DAW.
Straight to the point.
Thank you!
Is that the pro version? I didn't find this "timeline".
just press f12
Thank you!
This is terrific - nice and clear. Thank you!
this should be the default behaviour as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for sharing!
I wouldnt recommend usong this method if you use this DAW often or you have anything precious there. I did this once and it deleted all files from all my songs (over 50 songs, allmost all over ten minutes. And no silly electronic dance music that you can make 30 songs per day. Self played instruments. Prog metal.
thank you! you're legend!
;) glad I could help...
I want 16 bars per page, single staff. That means four systems. Can't find a way to make that happen
Add a system break every 4. bar and a page break to bar 16?
Am I missing something, or does this not allow the score and individual parts to be formatted independently?
Cool
When i tried recording another take, it started to shine in different color and i did not know what was wrong. Thanks.
Useful. So there's no way to copy the lyrics from a voice to another one to have the same?
cheers!
Thank you for your video. I like to add file paths to my sheet music so I can easily find pieces that may need editing. This should work nicely.
I use NexusFile for simple cases and Double Commander for advanced things.
This was SO helpful thank you so much
For me Musescore is placing the vertical frame and the text at the bottom of the previous page instead of at the top of the current page
Thank Frieder
F2 does not do that. How do you manually do it????
Have you checked your shortcuts? Maybe this has changed in MU4.
My source file is 96kHz. Someone on the DR Discord showed me a screen shot where they had the option to increase the project audio sample rate to 96 and 192. Is that only possible with the paid version of DR?
thanks, this is exactly what I needed. Looks like I'm not the first one to say that.
Thank you for that straightforward video!
thank you very much
what if there are different instruments in mov. 2?
It's not optimal but you could add all instruments, then hide empty staves...
Hi ! Thanks for the tip ! any workaround for people who already finished their project and want to change the sample rate afterwards ?
hey, so the best thing you can do about that is to create a new project, set the sample rate as he showed in the vid, and then just put in your finished project. you can then just export it as normal and the sample rate will be changed without affecting audio pitch, speed, etc.
Thanks, that was very helpful. In MuseScore 4, there's an Ossia box now, but I wouldn't even have found the right menu without your tutorial.
Ah, good to know. Glad I could help ;)
Very helpfull. Thank you 👍🎵🎶
Thanks!
Genius. Thanks
Thanks. I have been struggling with this.
If I want to do the same thing, but with my last measure, what should I do?
Same Question, it seems you have to create an extra measure, then add a frame and then delete that last measure.
For speed, I want to work with Alt Codes. But Musescore 4 shows me a pop-up, that says 'I should select a note...' Is this a bug?
Thank you very much!
Thanks, this is very helpful. Dissertation due this week, you saved me from needing to import into InDesign 👌
awesome video! straight to the point and providing the best solution ive found!!!
Thank you! You made an amazing and easy to understand video, I appreciate your help ❤
Thanks for the video. I tried for hours to get a stacked?? volta to work. After following your video precisely, I was able to finally get it working as expected.
Glad, my video was helpful for you. Getting voltas to work seems rather complicated...
Is there a way to have a staff for notes an one for rythm like wood block staff for school illustration?
Thanks, that's what I wanted, I had a rap part for a song and wanted to give it some space in case the singer stumbles on it.
For some reason it won’t let me select multiple measures when adding endings. I had to put 2 first endings just to make it work properly. I’m using Musescore 4 btw
Many thanks for this video. However, I'm using MU4 and it doesn't have an Inspector so I can't see how to set the text in a Volta and also set the Repeat List. How do I achieve this in MU4 please?
Ha! I found it - you have to click on the top horizontal line of the Volta then go to the Properties palette. I was mistakenly looking at the Properties palette when I selected the bar/measure!
The inspector is called properties panel in MU4. If you like, you can also move and dock it to the right side, where it used to be.@@ChrisRutherford-g9f
@@ChrisRutherford-g9fthanks for this comment, I couldn't add 2nd repeat to the Volta line, gave me the idea to right click on it and add the number 2 on the property option. Thank you. I was quite stuck 😂
Thanks! That's what I was looking for!
Thanks Man!
THANK YOU!! The single most "I wish they would just make this simple" feature in musescore for me
Thank you so much, I was looking for a video exactly like that because I never thought I had to change the play count and so I couldn't make it work. Love from France
Hi, Thanks for this helpful automation tip. 😎👍🏻
Very helpful, thank you!
Fantastic! Thank you for sharing this, just what I was looking for
