Currently on episode 9 & yeah buckle up this season is a SLOWWWWWW burn. Don’t wanna spoil it but prepare for everyone in this season to be delusional and almost useless at times & Shane is the only one with a working brain that’s thinking of the bigger picture.. again won’t spoil it but you’re gonna nod your head & get upset a lot of times at everyone else

The scene with Daryl and Rick cutting open the Walker was a tribute to Jaws Chief Brody and Hooper with the shark.

One thing I liked about the scene with the Deer is when Carl goes down both Rick and Shane sprint over to him and Rick drops down to Carl’s aid but Shane immediately takes a shooting stance and scans the area for targets out of muscle memory even though he’s disagreeing with Rick they still work like police partners.

The way Rick LOVE Carl is breathtaking❤️🥰

You can thank Greg Nicotero and his team for the ways the Walkers look He’s been around Zombies since the 80’s when he worked with the king George Romero He’s also a great director which you’ll see later on in the series.

Just to let you know that the showrunner has changed now Frank Darabont was the showrunner for Season 1 But now Glenn Mazzara is the showrunner for Season 2 There was a lot of issues that happened behind the scenes that resulted in Frank Darabont getting fired as the showrunner But as of now in Season 2 he’s an executive producer and plus he directed this episode I thought he did a great job as the showrunner last season and a great job with the casting.

Another awesome video, 👍👍 This was an awesome episode, I have never been into the old zombie flicks, since they are more of a satanic rise from the dead kind of thing, whereas TWD is more believable since it is a virus/disease causing it kind of thing, especially for new watchers since experiencing Covid, 😏👍 No matter what I think of Shane, I do believe Shane did think Rick was dead because he did not hear a heartbeat so he made the decision to not worry about his dead friends body due to all the chaos and honor him by trying to save Rick’s family, I believe he moved the gurney in front of the door so the dead/Walkers could not get to Ricks body, unfortunately the stress of the apocalypse and the bad head space he is in now since Ricks return, his thoughts have been on the evil side, especially attacking Lori like that, 😏 So sad Jacqui decided to stay, I was hoping they would give her more screen time, I felt Dr. Jenner would have been an asset also, 😏 RIP Jacqui and Dr. Jenner 😪 I kept waiting on Shane’s hot headed random shooting at the consoles to take out the one for the door, 😏 Have a safe and wonderful week, 👋😀👋

Another awesome video, 👍👍 A lot of people think the timeline is never stated, but most people just miss it, when we first see Dr. Jenner, he says that it has been 194 days since ‘WildFire’ was declared and 63 days since the disease abruptly went global, 🙂 So sad watching Andrea try to give Amy in death what she should have in life, especially on her birthday, now I personally would not have let my loved one suffer any longer than necessary, 😕😏 Between Shane trying to use what was between he and Lori to change Ricks mind and then putting him in his crosshairs, I started to despise him, each time I watch this episode I have the urge to put him out of my misery, 😏😁😂 Such a bummer to lose Jim, RIP 😪

Fun fact, it is Greg Nicotero (special effects and makeup master) that bites Amy, 👍 RIP Amy and all the rest lost this episode, 😪 Laurie Holden did an amazing job with Andrea’s character this episode, 👍😀👍 The Walkers were most likely to have been drawn towards the camp because of the car alarm (good call on that), Shane’s gunning the jeep up the road bringing water, and then zeroed in on it when Daryl honked the horn when he was ready to leave to find Merle, if they had been smarter when they left Atlanta, they would have met Glenn and left the car on the highway just outside of the city, still not sure why they did not do that, considering Rick got lectured about noise and how Walkers were blocking the exit because of it, by Morales and Andrea when they first meet, 😏 When it comes to the part with Jim digging all those holes I understand the concern Dale showed considering the heat and sun sickness, but every time I am rewatching and Lori says your scaring the kids I have to laugh, the kids have no clue what is up until the adults make such a big deal about it, it could have been handled quietly by Dale and Shane without including anyone else until it was over, but that is just my personal opinion, 😏

Another awesome video, 👍👍 When it comes to Merle’s actions on the roof, need to remember he had just snorted a line or two of the cocaine Rick found when he first handcuffed him, Rick flicks his nose saying he missed some then threw it over the edge, so that paired with sun sickness and a severe case of dehydration topped off by an apocalypse, can mess with your head, some of his rant is possibly military PTSD, he says ‘….. you heard me you p***y a** noncom b****. You ain’t deaf. Take it up d**n chain of command‘….. later in his commentary he says he spent 16 months in the stockade, if interested you can find his whole spiel on IMDB, 👍😀 I personally thought it was awful fast for Lori to get with anyone let alone Shane, whether Rick was dead or not, so she can not blame it all on Shane, 😏👍

At this point Rick had only recently woken up and hadn’t seen the horrors of the new world Shane on the other hand has seen what people are willing to do and adapted quicker then anyone else creating a literal good cop and bad cop dynamic.

So happy I’m here for this series. Season 2 is slow but compensates with character building and is the groundwork for future Seasons to me Season 2 is the best Season for character development Daryl really becomes one of the best characters next Season in my opinion so I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about that.

Blocking the door implies he thought Rick was alive but let’s be honest Leaving a man in a coma in the middle of a Zombie infested wasteland while the world falls apart 99 times out of 100 that’s a death sentence I don’t blame Shane for telling Lori he was dead.

Where Dale is concerned I don’t feel like Dale forced her hand He decided that if she was gonna stay and die then he was too She is the last person in the world he cares for.

I feel the same way about Lori lol

S1 E6 is my favorite episode of the series.... (the CDC, the false sense of security, the Shane drama, the near-death tension) I miss being able to see TWD episodes for the first time... Seasons 1, 2, etc... were so fun to see for the first time... I wish i could unsee this show, then watch it again as a newbie... it was so fun, wondering what was gonna happen next...

I always get annoyed when people brush off TWD as a stupid zombie show! My recommendation is to watch the first 4 seasons and then decide! The show is a journey! Each season is a chapter. Today’s reactors are so lucky that they can binge watch this show! I watched it as each episode premiered in real time! Sunday nights were very stressful! You had to wait a week or months to find out what happens next! RIP season 1

I do have to say, you are probably among the top haters of Lori I’ve ever encountered haha. While it is completely understandable with the explanation you gave (and I’m so sorry that happened to you! And I deeply admire the devotion you have towards your husband), it’ll be interesting to see how your opinion of Lori changes (if it does!) as the show continues. Not to completely defend Lori, but within the comics, Lori and Shane’s affair was not as deep and lengthy as they portray in the show. In the comics, it was a one night stand. Of course that doesn’t excuse the infidelity but the amount of dislike and outright hatred you might feel for Lori was definitely inflated by the showrunners for drama and to give a bad guy in Rick’s personal life. She might be at times manipulative (call it that Southern housewife nature) and wishy washy in her desires, but nobody can be perfect. Her character is complicated and she truly does love Rick, she just wants him to love her back in a way that she understands. Their relationship was rocky before, and she just didn’t feel loved or cared for before because Rick wasn’t as emotionally open and devoted to her as she felt she was to him. She felt like he was more involved with his work and saving the world than their relationship and didn’t express himself in a way she got. And Shane is no angel himself, as he was an equal if not more willing partner in the cheating, in telling her that he was dead and not telling her what she was doing was wrong. It takes two to tango, after all, and all the blame can’t be placed squarely on Lori’s shoulders as Shane also should have said no. You’ll see that Shane is an overbearing and possessive man, and how easily that more intense and overtly emotionally nature could sway Lori, who is trying to deal with her grief and loss and the end of the world and is looking for comfort and protection and an emotional connection. But you’ll see the development of her, and her and Rick’s relationship, as the series continues. I can’t spoil her future storyline but gosh, is it sad. All I can say about her is that she is trying, as inelegant and fumbling as any human can in this world.

Aw baby Glenn! He’s going to be such an important player to keep an eye on. And the glimpse you see of Rick’s intensity when he takes down Merle is just a taste of how he will evolve.

I arrived a little late to your reaction series but I’m catching up. So looking forward to another person experiencing this mainstay of the zombie genre! Also the amount of times I uncomfortably chuckled from your comments about certain characters or events (because of future knowledge)… I look forward to your response as the seasons progress hahaha. And yes, Lenny James (the actor for Morgan) deserves all the praise for his emotional performance! He was such a powerhouse and his acting was enough of a draw alone to make me hooked on this series.

It is a great series, hopefully there will be reactions to the other seasons, although I warn you, very difficult things are coming for the protagonists.

The early seasons of TWD were a Walker work in progress! Trying to understand this new world! Trying to make the right decision and deal with consequences later! Keep your eyes on Carol and Daryl! In the old world they were damaged people! Perhaps their past lives could very well prepare them for this new world!

I love how Daryl cared that they took Glenn it really shows how big of a heart he had at the time even for being a little shit stain 😂😂

The only reason I don't blame Lori up to this point is because she thought he was dead then her and Shane were spending every waking moment together for 2 months while she relied on him for her and her son to survive. She reverted back to caveman brain picking the strongest man for the best chance of survival in exchange for the only thing she had to offer him, but she should not have trated him like that after rick came back
