If I remember well there is an area near where the inside of the control arm is bolted that's where the stand is holding the vehicle. Unfortunately we don't have the vehicle anymore to be more specific.

@@HeroDefi you can use an OEM set as well. I almost got an OEM set from eBay but forgot to bid on it. Then most of the ones available had broken tabs (most likely were involved in an accident). I found a good deal on a new aftermarket set and ended up going that route.

@@kaimanson3174 No but what I'm saying is because you replaced the one close to OEM, the OEM was already in your car. Why didn't you use that?

@HeroDefi oh sorry, the one that came with the car (RWD) doesn't have an actual bulb in it, it has a black cover on it instead. It just has the amber bulb active only, it doesn't even have the white led line in it, like the LR or Performance does.

Most of the used OEM fog lights on ebay have those tabs broken (most likely were removed from a vehicle that had an accident). So I believe you may need to get some replacements, either OEM or Aftermarket, if you are going to take that route just get those adapters I bought and get some replacements with the actual fog lights bulb in it. You can remove the fog lights without removing the bumper.

@ Actually my idea is to just replace the broken cover. I only ordered the cover. However I don't know if there is anything in my car that has this cover attached to it or if they are broken from the inside. Also I want to ask you something else. I have never thought about buying any fog lights but I want to ask you how the fog lights create visibility in the fog. Do you think they have a significant effect? Worth to buy them ?

Great question, the fog lights in my opinion do not add a lot of light per say. It fills a bit in front of the bumper but that's it. In my case it was for the looks, I have always liked cars with fog lights, and if it doesn't have it, I'll try to install it as OEM as possible. Same thing with the subwoofer, the US RWD doesn't come with the subwoofer that the LR or Performance has, I bought a plug and play kit and it works perfectly.

@@HeroDefi Great question. The adapter will only turn on the fog lights when the headlights are on, it won't trigger them during DRL. The adapters only taps on the headlights power.

Go with OEM you should be fine. They are not that expensive.

But am thinking, that now that I've got a few bucks to spare, it be nice to have an upgraded system. Thing is, there are too many choices on Ebay. I want to make sure I get the right fit.

@@2Jeezuzisreal yeah 👍 let me tell you, these Odysseys are great. But there are so many moving parts /mechanicals and electronics that once it starts to get older one by start to give you problems. We don't drive ours as often as before and the rollers are good, both doors are working, one doesn't like the cold weather...start to act up when cold (bad latching mechanism - too lazy to take it out and clean up again 🥴 maybe a project for our "winter", but the South Florida heat keeps it in shape. What is showing its age is the GPS screen. Some trim 05-10 have 12v outlets in the front and rear. I don't remember too well, how was the layout for Gen.2

Also what where your signs for had bad cv axle I have a clunk when I drive and it’s gets faster as the car goes faster like clunk clunk as the wheels turn. My cousin said control arm but that’s not a spinning motion I don’t think

@@bonishabrown5260 Brand, Cardone from Rock Auto. It works fine, I got a set from Carid a few years back and one was out of balance, I had to get a replacement and redo the job. Both held up pretty well until we sold the car about two years ago.

@@bonishabrown5260 the signs were a clicking noise when turning right or left. I put a small go pro camera around the control arm and I was able to trace the noise to the axle when turning. Control arm noise usually happens regardless of turning or going straight especially when going over speed bumps or uneven surfaces.

The main reason to remove everything is that I was taking the knuckle to a shop to get the bearing replaced. Sometimes doing a repair while recording a video adds time as well...but yeah I take my sweet time 😂 thanks for the feedback. (Luckily I didn't record my Odyssey timing belt replacement....took me about 13hrs following a paper instructions and DIY videos on RUclips.)

@@lancanvlogs3470 there are 3 kinds of instrument cluster. Type A is like the one in the video. Type B the digital display is on the right side with a hole circle display and Type C the display is on the right side as well but it is not a complete circle display. If the maker of the knob/button can create a smart adapter that can trigger a relay on/off to be able to control the fog lights then that would be possible, the adapter available nowadays is basically splitting the power that is going into the headlight to the fog light.

@@LakeHome-n4j great question. Yes the led strip stays on while on DRL. Once the headlight comes on (low/high beam, even flashing your headlights) the fog lights will come on.

Nice! I ordered the same puddle lights after watching your video. When you ordered the headlight plug from aliexpress did you have to order a qty of 2 to get two plugs or did you order qty of 1 and it came with two?
