When you mention value, Harley was automatically excluded.

You know they actually lined it up next to a V rod and it got gapped so they didn’t put that part in the video

It’s a cruiser it’s not supposed to be fast or handle Good it’s supposed to look good and sound good and victories don’t do that. Even with an aftermarket exhaust they sound like lawnmowers. And that’s why they don’t make them anymore they just simply couldn’t compete

This inspired me to buy a Victory so I could take my wife on rides. I love my 2014 Victory Vision.

What a load of bullshit, the V-Rod had an 1130 cc engine when released and it gives and doesn't stop giving.The handling of the V-Rod makes the Victory feel like an old snow-mobile in comparison This video is prejudiced towards showing Victory under the better light and it would be good to see a true comparison done for both machines.

Just bought a 2012 Victory Hammer. Has the 116 upgraded engine and loads of performance upgrades that came with is. Used to own 3 Harleys before, including a V-rod Night Rod Special. This victory is the best bike I've ever owned so far, hands down. Love the transmission, espacially at a stop light when you have to find neutral. It's very precise, you can never miss it. Overall compare to my old V-Rod, the Hammer has way more torque off the line and the handling is a bit better due to the peg position. Overall, good bang for you buck. I reccomend this model to anyone who is in the market for a used cool looking cruiser. I wake up enthusiastic every morning to go and ride it and I never get bored when I'm on the bike. This hasn't happened to me since I first started riding years ago..

Victorys big mistake was trying to sell their bikes for as much as or more then Harleys!....I dont know what they were thinking!.....If they would have dropped their prices, I would have bought 1 over a Harley easily because they were excellent engines with lil maintenance needed!....They should have started out with price ranges of Honda......They could have raised prices once they grew a solid consumer base that would back them up!....I hate that they went out of business!

My vrscd hauls like a raped ape. I don't get why victory singled out the VRSC when its below it in class. Looks like a fun bike but its not a performance cruiser like a vmax, vrod, or rocket 3. They shouldve targeted a more similar bike.

The BEST bike is the one "YOU LIKE" and not what peer pressure dictates you should have. For better or worse...Harley is just like all other bike maker's. However...Harley branding and Harley "Club" are like no other. I'm going to eventually buy a Harley just so I will have some skin in the "shit talking" game. But it's not an easy decision as I am riding a 13 year old bike that is 113cc from the factory where Harley just made 107 standard. My bike is easy to pick out of a field of dozen's. My bike has NEVER failed to start or stopped running. What am I riding you might ask?...well, a Yamaha Stratoliner of course.

Hammer V vrod,,, but no mention of the v rod. Some would say, Victory propaganda. I've owned both. Both have there good and bad points. As far as acceletation and speed?? Honestly, the V rod. Value for money?? The hammer. Resale value?? The V rod. Quality of paintwork and finish?? The harley. Personal choice?? The hammer is more comfortable to ride. For me, all in all both are close and the final result is up to the individual.

They're both dad bikes.

The Vrod is by far a better looking bike.
