While traveling to the Mississippi in the late 1990's we encountered a similar situation at a nightclub. A black woman purposely spilled wine on my wife's dress. Then pushed her wanting to fight. The only fight my wife has ever been in is with a fly and she lost. I calmed the black woman down from wanting to fight, and she screamed at me. "why don't I date my own kind." I explained to her I was not dating her she was my wife and I dated women, not a kind. We left and went out to another place more diverse with no problems.
