Dragon’s Dogma is very cpu intensive on both current gen consoles and pc.

For what's worth, I highly recommend the Steam Deck. Since I got it, I've barely touched my PS5. It's just a much more convenient way to play games

Try switching the Protons and if that doesn’t work maybe you should try running the game on Low settings

You need go out from gaming mode -Heroic -> three dots options for ghostrunner ->other - switch off all anticheats, advanced -> thick for ignore actualization and offline mode.Start game from Heroic,not game mode.

I figured out what was causing this issue. There was recently a new update to The NonSteamLauncher which is v3.8 . I updated Link #1 so that once you click it it’ll take you directly to NonSteamLauncher v3.8. After you click the github link Click “Source code (zip)”. The NonsteamLauncher should download. After it’s done downloading left click/or hit the left trigger (if you’re not using a keyboard) and extract archive. Once that is all done you will see a folder labeled “NonSteamLauncher-On-Steam-Deck-3.8” double click the folder and MAKE SURE to click on “NonSteamLaunchers.sh” NOT “NonSteamLaunchers.desktop” Click “Execute”. After that you can follow the rest of the video to get the Launchers working.

I saw this, but I’m not willing to spend more money on the game.

Do you have any Mods? If so that could be the issue. I recommend uninstalling them. If you don’t then you should verify your game files.

Weird I play on my lcd deck and don't have those issues

It freezes and restarts my oled deck.

If I stay in one location I can build my home. But if I explore it definitely freezes and restarts the oled deck. I read on Reddit it is a memory leak in the code side of the game. I stopped playing for now cause I was fighting a boss and it froze on me. And that killed my mood for it.

@Gryndhard damn that's unfortunate I do believe that their might be a memory leak since the longer u play the more the frame rate drops but I haven't experienced freezes like you have.

Did you undervolt your deck? if you did, make sure you undo any changes made to the bios. Oled decks don't need undervolting since they already have almost 30% better battery life than LCD decks.

Regarding the topic of copyright infringement, I recommend you to watch the video "Palworld Plagiarism tier list" by Onadock. He gives a fair assessment for every Pal in the game. It's not about being salty about it being better than Pokémon, there are some genuine cases of copying that go beyond mere inspiration and enter the realm of asset theft. I still have the game on my wishlist but I'll have to wait to see how this situation develops.

Best way to describe it is by default, the game when played on the deck has a bit of a fuzzy look on the visuals, this gets rid of that and makes it looks a hell of a lot nicer, I just set it up this evening and it was super easy man
