Dealing with new “competition” the right way
Man the ignorance you spew about china and their products is wild especially considering most “American “ products are only assembled in America if even that every part that goes I. To almost everything is china . Every micro chip in every device you have ever or will ever own all 100 percent china . Lincoln electrics main factory is in china using the same Chinese materials your hating on here.
👍👍
Would the miller big 50 handle getting 220 wired into it?
Have you had trouble with it not welding?
Nice setup brother 😎
Is there a valve in those filters? I thought it was just an orifice, with the idea being that the vapor will go through the orifice much faster than liquid will, so even though there is always some gas going through the orifice back to the tank, it will automatically release vapor faster and yet still provide the carburetor with positive pressure. And that would also be why the return is supposed to be mounted on top, as the vapor will gather at the top of the filter. If the filter is mounted with the return on the bottom, then the vapor can still gather in the filter without exiting until the filter is completely filled with vapor.
I have 160 stick and its good has a thought time on HF power gen the arc go's out dirty power sign wave doesn't like it but other then that good machines
I charge $140.00 an hour plus iron and shop material.
I agree 100% with you, walk away from the Mickey Mouse job that they want to to do and put your name on. I'm a fabricator and an artist. I'm not just a welder. Go call Joe Blow, and call me later when you want the job done right. See ya, wouldn't want to be ya.!!!
With a battery replacement look into if you need to do a BMS (battery monitor system) reset. Ford may have finally made the system smart enough to know when you changed the battery but the first generation BMS doesn't. As the battery gets old BMS increases the alternator voltage to compensate which is helpful but on a replacement battery it just shortens the battery life. Its easy to check with a volt meter when the truck is running.
What MPG do you get?
Great video! I just ordered one on amazon, taking way too long to arrive. Nice shop. Good luck on the lathe. Hoping for your success
I've ran my amico 160 off 300ft of 120v cord 12ga
You’re absolutely correct about Dual-Shield over stick for efficiency. Simply can NOT beat Dual-Shield! I use it pretty much on everything 3/16” thickness and above. It makes stick feel prehistoric!
Prime is prime! Also stoked on a new video cuz I know it’s going to be the realist info
Great video, ive been looking to get a plasma cutter,
Nice work brother. How are you liking that Optrel PAPR? I've been looking for a nice lightweight setup.
I don't have a lot of knowledge about plasma consumables, but a shop I worked at bought an really good Italian made plasma of some sort, then replaced the torch with one that uses hypertherm consumables. Then they found cheap consumables on amazon that are just as good as the hypertherm ones, but they had the spring on them. They just simply pulled the spring off of the consumable, and they work in their non spring consumable torch. Not sure if this comment has any value but I thought it was worth mentioning.
every time I see a new derb video come up it's like running into a friend in town. 💪 the 325 is a sweet machine I love mine. the water cooler sends it over the edge 1400.out the door with the long water cooled torch and cooler you can't beat it
What brand wire are you using?
At 6:17 it shows a roll of Washington Alloy.
Nice to see you out there. Thanks for the video. I looked hard at that machine plus one from Eastwood and Everlast. I ended up with the Everlast Cyclone 262. It has similar capabilities and the customer service has been great. I'm glad to hear your opinion on your machines. I may consider that plasma unit or even stick machine.
dualshield is the BOMB! great video Daniel, nice to see you're making bank and staying busy
Have had both for over a year and half and love them! Mostly hardwire and some stick but have done some tig also with great results. That plasmadyn torch is my next shop purchase 100% 🤘🏾
We are a prime weld shop. Have been welding for over 50 years and Prime Weld beats Lincoln and Miller for customer service. I own them all and Prime W eld is the best at keeping a shop running without BS ,
Indeed, customer service is excelent, I have a tig machine from them in Europe, the foot pedal stopped working, and they still helped me
What diameter dual shield wire were you running and about how thick of steel?
Have you run the mig machine off of the 220V power from your engine drive welder at all? im looking to get one for mobile work. i cant justify a suitcase just yet and i can still use the mig285 in the home shop too
I saw this one at FabTech mm-source.com/suitcase-wire-feeder-mig-gun-and-consumables.html it might be a good budget feeder.
Fantastic video brother 👏
My boy Derb with another 1 🎉👏
Needed to see it winding back up. Did it wind up just on the bottom side or did it wind up evenly on the spool.
I think you’ve done an awesome job designing and organizing this truck! The modern half ton pickups are very capable! People still see them as the old half tons but in reality they can do a lot more! If it’s working for you I say keep moving forward man! Excellent job! I also think there’s a market for this skid type design you’ve built. I do agree with another comment that the 8ft bed and air bags or at the minimum some timbrens could really help you out. But you do you man!
“Waltmart rig welder” with a tilt head and voice 😂 Good progress on the trucks for sure. Keep going👍🏽 Can you show some close ups of underneath the frame to see how you bolted your crane?
Glad to see someone show you dont need an f350 dually for this
Next time consider an 8 ft bed. Maybe some airbags.
Nice if it was me I would take the passenger side seat out where you had more storage. Please start sharing more videos having one video once a year ain’t much.
Man you got that f 150 loaded. Glad it’s been a reliable truck for you. Hope your business prosperous daily
Homes you need a 4 🚪 10 feet flat bed! You have way too much 💩 in that truck!🛻
put that amber light on the truck
How's your pop's doing? I've been watching you since the beginning.
About time you get a good helper 👍🏼 Always protect your eyes
Keep up the good work and the good content.
You need a bigger truck buddy
Nope I’m under the rated GVRW. I’ve owned bigger trucks and there is no need for them in my work.
I'm not even a welder, I think I st arted following you because of the dentsides, it's weird to see a welder that doesn't need a one ton dually diesel. I have a '21 5.0 4x4 xlt like that, but it's a super crew. Only thing that scares me is the CDF drum issues in the 10r80 they didn't fix until '24, oh and I have a 3.31 rear end that I need to swap
Really glad to see a video brother hope to see more soon ,
God bless north Carolina
Do more videos please
👋👋👋💥
That welding skid is awesome!!! I love the lights and the vise. Great to be Able to put the skid right near the job.
How well does that compressor keep up when air arcing
Good to see you posting.....How was the Hurricane? Did you make through ok? I am glad to see you are doing well....I just bought a Miller Bobcat 225 G that is housed out and I have no idea if it runs...I will be rebuilding it on video before or during the build of my 1928 Morgan/MG special hillclimb race car....
Do you still use the plasma table a lot?? I have a crossfire table also.
