I am thinking of buying the same guitar but with a floyd rose. Would you recommend it? I am worried that it has active pickups, is it true they dont have much dynamical range? I was thinking of buting the guitar and swapping the pickups for some SD black winters. For you to have an idea, i own a squier bullet strat (i have never played with humbuckers) through a Roland Cube 10W and like to play hard rock, death metal, thrash and sometimes drop tune to B for some slipknot. I am usually tuned at D Standard
I mostly don’t recommend a floydrose because tuning is a complete nightmare with that bridge. However if you want to do divebombs it’s probably the best bridge for that My guitar has active EMG pickups. SD black winters are great pickups but if you like to play deathmetal, thrash and slipknot I definitely recommend the EMG humbuckers. They are active so they require a 9v battery to work properly Active pickups have dynamics, just not as much as passive pickups. Active pickups don’t clean up much. That doesn’t mean they are bad, just different

The chord you play there is an E/G# chord, it’s an E maj chord with G# in the bass. On electric guitar I play 4 on the low E string and 7 on the A string. On acoustic guitar I play the same thing adding 6 on the D string, 4 on the G string, 5 on the B string and 4 on the E string.

@@theslithx the numbers mean the same thing as the notes above it, so you can ignore them. Those numbers are what guitarists usually use to learn songs, that's why I included them
