Getting started using Node RED with Home assistant

This video follows me installing Node-RED in to my home assistant setup. And then configuring a basic flow using Zigbee buttons and a shelly 1L to create a remote light switch for my office desk. As always I'll say I'm not an expert and whilst I hope some people can follow along and learn something, these videos are not intended to be tutorials.

Changing The Save Battery - Pokemon Gold Gameboy
The RGB signal needs the 12V power line. If you don't have it, then there will be no good picture.
Good luck for the continuation :)
Check the voltages. Make sure the voltage regulator is not overshooting or undervolting things...
Could also be the ULA (or the ULA socket)... that's also sometimes a source of similar trouble :( The ULA would suck as they're not obtainable anymore...
I would try inspecting the ram chips with the oscilloscope, also buy replacement ram chips and piggyback the existing ones with the new just to test to see if it makes a difference.... you don't actually have to desolder the old to make a test...
When desoldering with that particular desoldering gun, go around in circles over the pin before pulling the trigger. Maybe it's just because of the editing and in reality you were doing exactly that, in that case, sorry, that's the good way... if not, try it next time... just go round and round so the whole pad and pin gets heated up and you're not relying on the heat transfer of the old solder...
The way you removed that z80 was painful. Never rip it by hand like you did.... :(
could you put link to werew you got the resisters plz
Thanks great video will dive into mine soon
Hey man, great video and amazing video + audio quality. One thing I would suggest if you don't mind the extra editing time is to try to cut out the pauses. I'm watching on 2x speed and I can still notice multiple pauses a few seconds long each, which does detract from the pace of the video slightly. If you could jump cut those periods of silence where you are inspecting the board or otherwise fade through them, I think it would add a lot to the pacing of the video! Either way, love the vid and dropped you a sub.
Didn't watched the video eintirely but it was the Headphonejack right? It's nearly all the time that darn contact wich should tell the speaker theres no headphone used anymore
Great job on the fix. Great video to. Jesus loves you!

try using some wd-40 on that sticky goo, then dawn+water to clean the wd-40
the sound its working?
The name for those screws is 'tri-wing screw'.
it's the 2 resisters where the gob was on them pcbs 1 220 and the other is 150. replace and it will work and it's on the power coupler circuit
could you transform ur prime into a prime X by adding original fenders and rear rack + kickstand?
You could get close, the front folks on this non x version don’t have the fender mounts so you need slightly different ones
Can you tell me the voltage of purple ziner diode n64 power supply
If you couldn't fix it, you wouldn't post the video. lol
Moments of agony with those SMD, clean the pad, remove old solder, apply flux to 1 pad, apply solder to the pad you applied flux, position your part and melt solder, apply flux to the other side, apply solder and done.
Hi, I found this video because I bought a 60CSX with the same exact issue, except it looks like it's much more manageable (def not as corroded) with an intact microSD reader. If the process of cleaning does not work completely, what tools / resources would you recommend I get to fix it? You hinted at the end of a microSD card replacement, which would probably require a hot air gun, right? Also, what is the specific point of failure in power delivery?
How did you get those things in the holes to test the battery cuz mine won't go inside
Because I work with a lot of smaller components I’ve replaced the stock probes of my multimeter with a pair of “extra fine” ones. You can find them on Amazon.
@codebolt2064 how small it has to be can I get them off Amazon?
Mine have a 0.28mm tip and yes, they were from Amazon.
@@codebolt2064 thanks
Same problem here im just going to buy a replacement supply, the original n64 power supply seems to have a design flaw with the resistor
Hey mate, by any chance would you be willing to sell this thing? I bought one myself but it was sold as advertised without a card reader. But it turns on. So if I bought this off you I might be able to fix it. Let me know if you're interested :)
After all the work, would you think it's worth the trouble to go from ZHA to Zigbee2MQTT? I understand it's a bit more complex but it looks like 2Mqtt offers more devices and entities. I currently use a ZHA and I am on the fence with a new dongle in hand.
Thanks for sharing & some good content... but maybe edit out the mistakes so that 1,600 people don't watch them ;-)

How are you enjoying this bike? thinking about buying this exact model as there is one left in my local bike shop at a good price..same colour also👍😀
I’ve been loving, it’s made cycling a lot more enjoyable and that’s meant I’m going out more. The motor gives more than enough support and the bike is quite capable off road
Hi can you tell me which camera do you recording video? (quality are great). Thanks
Thanks, pretty much everything is shot on a Sony a6400,
and what lens do you use?@@codebolt2064
Thanks for the video - I had the same issue except it was only the 1.5k resistor that failed. Thanks to you I found out what value it was so I can replace it.
I liked you trolling around when you didn't find the shell command😅😅😅. But you did find the alternative. I am Glad you succeed in the end. Good for you.
Yesterday Gatwick Airport, I went to "British e-gates" to go through the control. An African guy came in with a portuguese passport, I told him it's not an e-gate for him and he should go to other gates - he told me he don't understand and he speaks "spanish only" , he went through e-gates without any problems. Great border control. I hust wonder whether I need a passport at all. I bet I can borrow my wife's one and get through too. :) .
The e-gates work for UK+EU ePassports. Portugal is in EU.
Just doesn’t work other way round, UK can’t (in general) use EU e-gates

Hello, I am not able to identify path to my device. How did you enabled to show all hardware devices? At 1:50 you have listed only a few devices, at 6:08 you have all hardware devices listed. Thanks in advance
Interesting, I don’t think I’d noticed quite how different those lists looked at the time. It was restarting HomeAssistant that meant that the device was recognised.
The power unit of N64 is a shitty, They doesn’t made for long period of use.
Using the flux with the desoldering gun ends up gumming it up. It's better without it. Unfortunately I learned the hard way.
The part that connects to the console is supposed to be detached from the rest of the board, that is normal.
you legend, video solved all my problems in seconds. after hours trawling through web posts !!!
So after looking at your board you seem to be missing fuse on c1.
I repaired one of these last year, micro switch was faulty, what a job getting it back together 🤣 but at least it worked again. Nice job, and yes your right alkaline batteries you need white vinegar to neutralise it, nice job 👍
If verbal abuse towards inanimate objects were a crime, they’d send me to the ⚡️🪑
Hopefully, next time he puts out one of these videos. He made just do that after he reads my commentake. Some advice watch a few videos before you do another video on something that you don't know anything about.
This is what I don't understand there are so many RUclips videos out there are people dismantling these PlayStation devices, and this guy did not even bother to look at them, he would look more professional if he had watched one of those and watched how to take this support, but right now he looks like an idiot. I would not make a video and post it on RUclips before looking at a bunch of videos on the subject that I was going to do so I wouldn't look like this guy looks like right? Sorry to say it, but he looks very unprofessional. All you would have to do is spend. At top an hour watching 1 or 2 RUclips videos. I hate to be able to go right through this game console with no problem.
Quite a few of those corroded VIAs look to be ground but you would still need to fix many of them in order to get this board working again. If you get another board for reference, that would be great however it will be a lot of work. I restore them by scratching off the solder mask on both sides and solder in a wire. No need to drill or anything.
well that sucks, you have to be careful with these, if a battery leaks on these they are done for, it just eats the entire board from the inside out, the basic issue is that it eats all the vias first which is enough to make the board unrecoverable without extensive rework
I guess the answer was no lol 😅
*reads title *sees video duration Uh oh
