I picked up that Market Day board game at the charity shop couple weeks before Christmas. Sold very quickly!
Yeah it’s a quick seller. Was worth a good bit more a couple of years ago but the price has dropped. I’ve still got the last one I bought unlisted as the girls like playing it. Happy New Year!

I dont understand what she was trying to achieve 🤣 The most awkward encounter i witnessed was a Asian fella looking to buy a drill (body)off someone he asked a few questions and haggled alittle bit and the guy selling was obviously in a bad mood as he wasnt a happy bunny....they agreed a price £5 and the asain fella asked if it came with a battery with that the seller just flipped and told him he was taking the piss and a waste a space....ripped the drill out of his hand and told him to f*** off....with that i think everyone was alittle bit like hmmmm maybe we wont haggle with him and the poor asian guy just didnt know what to do bless him. Also seen a fight over who was buying an item that was pretty awkward 🤣
No me neither 🤣 Haha, I can just imagine all the other people at the guys stall looking at his stuff quickly putting them back on the table and doing a runner after that. I must have led a pretty sheltered car boot life as I’ve never seen anything like that 😂

Agreed. I think some people don’t know what a car boot is like and bring along items they’re valuing at eBay prices, if not more. But at least give me the price 🤣

😂 In my head I thought he’d said £20 & £15 so £35. If my brain had realised it was £25 I wouldn’t have asked for a discount as that’s a fair price. I just had in my head that £35 was too much so £30 sounded ok 🤣

Great pick up on the Stephen King books - at that price I’d have been very tempted to get more especially the Brian Lumley, Graham Masterton, James Herbert and Clive Barker ones. They’d have probably sold you the whole stall for £50 and there was Lotr there too lol. Surprised so much was still there unsold when you returned. @@ratchuk2023 half expected to see your partner(?) had picked it up later in video. Least you got a few other bits from that stall. You seem to often pick up items / brands that many wouldn’t even know about like bike gear so always more to learn about out there for everyone and that’s half the fun.
