Thank you for sharing the recipes on the screen 😉 Last year my daughter attempted to grow a purple cauliflower, but the possum got to it very early on. This year we made sure we covered it with a pop up laundry basket. It didn’t grow as big as the giant one you got from the farmers markets but still tasted great, and I used the small leaves in a stir fry for the first time.

Good Morning folks, nice to see things progressing. The plants will be useful as well as aesthetic, and give a nice touch. But your cube shelving, especially in a tiny space like what you have - will be a game changer. We have had a fair bit of snow in the last few days, but the sun came out yesterday and it has all melted now. Got a bit of catch up to do outside and around the property, and have friends coming up to give me a hand. Hoping for a productive day. Take care, speak soon. Susan xx

Yes! So homely 🙂 It really has been game changing, things are easier to access and store neatly, really glad we did it! Oooh how magical, it's a shame it melts so quick. And nothing beats the exhilaration of sledding down the driveway or the paddocks! :-) xxx

That cupboard looks great and I'm sure the space is working so much better now. Our oldest 3 kids have lived in caravans for years , the moisture is a constant battle. Opening everything up daily is a must , regularly washing curtains, bedding etc . Not very environmentally friendly of me but budget friendly, we put cups of crystal cat litter around on shelves , it's the same stuff in the little packets and a whole lot cheaper . We've tried the bentonite clay ( we use that for actual cat litter and to seal our leaky dam) but it doesn't work well enough ( in our climate maybe ) Freezing rain is awful, I don't enjoy that bit about southern winters. The plants and copper accents look beautiful. Thank you for sharing lovelies ❤❤

OMG - what an image to open with. I have had bogged cars in the paddocks over the years. Another time people came in checking power lines and brought a big cherry picker - they bogged that and the last time was about 4 years ago when I ordered a truck of firewood..... It is such a horrible experience, and even if you get it out quite often you only get a meter or 3 only to get the vehicles bogged again. Watching the bus move and the back wheels spinning was 'epic'. A bugger about not getting the roadworthy, but as you say it forces your hand to chip away at the jobs that are left. You're like me - any new place, you have to check out the local nursery, lol. Take Care. Susan xxxx

Just come in from my morning chores on the farm. Brought a wheelbarrow of firewood down to the house from the woodshed. I need to make sure I have more going into next Winter - you can never have too much! That looked like a nice tree for firewood too (ie not white gum, lol). I bought some Wedges from Stihl years ago, often handy if the chainsaw gets stuck. That weather you were talking about - has arrived here! Take care, Susan. xx

Yes it's great that you are already thinking ahead, it's so easy to forget and then you're stuck with a few very cold nights and you realise very quickly you need more!! Oh yes it was a beauty, we couldn't even get to the trunk it was so large, the camera did not do it justice! Yeh the wedge seems like a great tool better than a pipe I guess hahaha 🤣 he did so well, that was the only one that got stuck!

@@matsommer5039 Thanks for sharing the tip for the wedge, a tool I hadn't considered yet seems quite affordable and useful. Not many people we know seem to have these, you'd think chainsaw companies would encourage the sale of these with chainsaws.

Oh gosh winter in QLD, turns out no matter where we would've gone we'd be surrounded by frost haha! The bus has been very cosy, we've added a few things that together have kept so much warmth in! Smart idea with the handsaw Sam and the pole. Lot less effort. You done well. lol I found myself saying come on muscles when you were trying to hitch up the trailer.
