In this video I will show you how to figure out the reason why a GE dryer will not run. The dryer start but then shuts off. It turns out the dryer belt ripped. The new dryer belt cost me about 15$ from Amazon. To first find the belt for my dryer, I went to applianceparts.com, I entered the model number of my dryer and I found the belt number. The belt from the website would have taken a week to...

How to remove a wheel lock without a key on a 2001 Acuta TL 3.2 I lost my key and the dealer wanted 70$ to remove it and I was not ready to pay that much. To do this I did the following: I bought a Husky 19mm 12 point socket from Home Depot for about 6$. You want to have a socket that is slightly smaller than the lug key. For reference, the normal socket size for the regular lug nut is 19mm. I ...

How many litres of coolant do you fill it with? and do you have thermostat and gasket part #?
Hello. I believe I out in around 2 gallons so about 8-9 liters? Unfortunately, I don’t have the parts numbers for the gasket or the thermostat.
U r the best bro❤️❤️
What’s the part number to the duralast thermostat
Hello, I am not sure . Best would be to call autozone and ask, they only had one kind of thermostat.
Thanks
Well I recommend getting an Ecutek or uprev flash. Getting your fans to kick on in the efficiency range at 194 instead of a factory 213°F. Also the GKTech coolant bleeder pipe
In addition to the leak im not experiencing overheating but i dont get heat from the hvac
So it’s not my cats this whole time smh
Thank you!!
This video is very helpful, thank you!! And on a side note, you need to make sure what engine type you have. DE or HR Hints why parts look very similar, yet they are very different.
Awesome video thanks
Great tutorial. Thank you!
did you use any gasket sealer for the thermostat?
My g temperature gauge shows overheating after 10-15 mins but the temperature gauge flutters to normal temps then over heats and goes back and fourth ? Could it be thermostat
?
The other one is better just put a new bolt and tighten it
What if the car is leaking coolant? What shout I check?
Good question. I would check the hose connections first ( upper and lower radiator Hose connections) and if those appear to be intact, I would look underneath the car to see if the actual radiator is leaking.
21200JK20A - is this the original part number? What was the part number for the correct part that you used?
Hello, I am not sure of the part number. It’s best to call the store and find out
Any idea why my engine light is on ? I got it scanned and it says replace thermostat but you have no engine light I’m confused
Not sure
Another controller saved. Thank you!
How did you get the clip off blocking the bolt
I used angled nose plierstook a while but it’s doable
Great job, thanks for your help 👍
Mine over heats just with the ac on
I had a car that did that it was the high speed on the fan that went bad. Changed the fan and it was fine
How do you unclip the clip!!!
Which one can you specify the time in the video you are referring to?
Man, you saved my controller. It really makes sense that the ribbon must touch the motherboard. I put a foamed double sided tape underneath the rubber. And it really works! Before, the right arrow is going crazy.
Legend bro just did this on two of mine this fixed both of them thank you.
Thanks I had 2 with the same problem. Was close to buying a new one. They got fixed and working.
👍👍👍
Most forward video out there!! Appreciate it so help full
I recommend buying from Z1 motor sports they have low temperature thermostat, or regular ones, grest video tho
Do you have to add coolant to the reservoir after you finish bleeding it even thought the radiator has some in it?
you don’t have to but mind as well since you’re filling up the radiator
Is it normal for it to go into limp mode
Limp mode?
No, this is not normal. Make sure you reconnected any airbox (or any other) electrical connections you may have disconnected.
Your good man the way you unplugged that sensor was amazing lol mine hung up like Rottweiler on a poodle
Thank you!
Thank you SO much. My controller was doing the exact same thing but now it’s fixed. Thank you again!
when you make a video put your subject in the field of view
I have the reverse issue lol... The thermostat I received from rock auto has a thicker housing base and my bolts are too short... Went to AutoZone and put my thermostat bolts into the duralast one they had and the bolts were once again too short... Almost flush with the inner housing.
I really want to thank you for this. It really helped with my 2 controllers. I was about to smash them against the wall. Who could imagine the problem was about that small foam. No intuitive at all.
I’m happy to help and that you didn’t have to throw the controllers against the wall lol
I would've gone with the blue antifreeze that's recommended for aluminum block engines that won't corrode the aluminum like the green stuff does.
Interesting you say that. The manufacture rrecommends the green one, so I wonder why they don’t recommend a blue one
@@Yourdoc1 If you look at Peak and Valvoline brands they are OEM approved for Infiniti's 2009 and up that are Borate, Silcate, and phosphate free. The aluminum engine blocks will corrode internally with those substances with them. It's not something that happens overnight, but with heat and time, you'll gum things up and have a bigger mess on your hands.
Hello brother, I use green coolant from the German company Wolver. Is this correct or should I change it?
thank you. totally worked.
Have 2 of those..going to try it/this. I’ll let know what the outcome is .
Thx for the vid bro so I did all this exactly and after that the drive back home it was overheating again any idea what it could be?
Not sure, make sure there is no air in the system . Also are both the upper and lower radiator hoses hot?
Thank you very much!
I'm watching your video holding that stupid Stant thermostat 🤣
Lol
We all are 😂😭
😂
What if it does spin but doesn't stay on after pressing start?
Excellent video - thank you so much for posting! 😊 I watched your video twice, took some notes, and completed the thermostat replacement in about 30 minutes. I wanted to add a few thoughts to this thread to benefit others: Why did I replace my thermostat? - My check engine light came on with error P0128 -> the engine coolant is not getting warm enough, fast enough. My mechanic said most likely the thermostat was not working properly. Once I removed the thermostat, I saw that it was stuck in the open position, so I knew that was the problem. What thermostat did I buy? - As recommended, I bought the Duralast 15238 thermostat from Auto Zone. I measured the new thermostat, and the correct, thick housing width is 11/16.” How much coolant did I use? - I bought one gallon and that was enough to replace what I lost when I removed the housing, and it gave me enough to refill the plastic coolant reservoir to Min level. How to reset the warning light? - Before replacing the thermostat, I had the “Check Engine” warning light. After replacing the thermostat, I now had the “Service Engine Soon” light. The easiest and quickest fix to remove this warning light was to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. Once I reconnected I had no more warning lights on the dash.
Great insight! I’m happy this video helped.
I have a leak but no cel at all
Good clear instructions, I think my 30yr. old boiler has the same problem. Peace be unto you.
We’re does that hose connect to the lower resvoir hose mines just leak coolant out of it because it’s not connected to anything it’s that tiny hose that’s hanging up when you took the resvoir off
Awesome. Thank you so much.
My Thermostat bolts we're 9mm not 10mm, were yours 10mm? Also, did you just hand tighten your thermostat bolts?
From what I recall they were 10 mm. I did use a small ratchet to make it tight, hand tightening caused the coolant to leak out still
@@Yourdoc1 Yeah i used a small character to snug up the bolts, they don't have to be over tightened but ive seen people snap the bolts from tightening too much.
I used electrical tape for more stiffness but still got squish, worked like a charm and did it to 3 other controllers
Perfect review. couldn’t tell why my top radiator housing was getting so hot considering I just changed my thermostat and flushed my coolant. Checked my lower hose and it was cold after a 30 min drive. Had a faulty thermostat in and had to exchange it for a new one. Thanks again man 👍🏼
Awesome I’m glad this helped you!
From my experience it’s so much easier in the long run if I spend slightly more & buy the OE brand.
very helpful video ! I just found it a bit too late I took my pins out in the opposite direction and I think I broke them do you know where I could find a replacement set of pins or at least the name of this type of pins @Yourdoc1
