Absolutely love your videos been in the Motor trade all my life from detailing mechanic recovery and worked my way up to aftersales manager you are doing brilliant with this channel buddy you really are so well done a little constructive criticism please when asking a question let the other person answer the question if you watch this video back you will see what I mean when you talk to your salesman it does become a little annoying but please take this as a way to improve and make you better your doing a great job buddy

My pet hate being a dealer. Old scabby number plates on the cars, the plates are the face, the make up!! Nothing worse with cracked plates, screws showing and showing where they were sold from previously.

Yes please do more auction videos please. I’m 40 years old and son of a former car trader and I’ve lived in auctions since I was 4 years old 🤣🤣 I watch alot of RUclips Shifting Metal and Calvin’s Car diaries and I enjoy it when they go to auctions too. Good channel so far 👊

On the point of you spotting the fault with the astra harley, I sold cars for myself for 15 years plus, and id put my knowledge on how to diagnose faults on cars close to a mechanics, id say most forecourt salesman wouldnt know much about the mechanics of the cars theyre selling its normally when your own money is on the line you need to be make sure your knowledge grows

You've been open in regards to your father, and fair play. But how did you initially finance your business? Like selling cars from home etc? Also do you use a software or program to calculate margin/keep figures

Couldn’t agree more about not selling car warranties, these warranty companies wriggle out of everything , the poor customer thinks he’s buying security if something goes wrong , they always find a clause of not doing repairs. You have the right approach do the repairs yourself , put away in a separate slush fund a certain amount for each car sold and use when needed. When you were driving to deliver the Mercedes if I’m not mistaken you were driving with the interior light on , Many years ago more than 10 i sent a young employee to Darlington to a competitor to pick up a spare machine part as they had a identical machine and we had a excellent relationship with them, anyway he got lost put on the internal light and the police pulled him over gave him a fine he was near to tears when he got back , I’ve just searched the internet because I though it was against the law but doing research apparently it’s not , maybe it’s because he was trying to look at a map which might explain it , Enjoyed todays video I like these unscripted chats , I thought the same the forecourt looked very empty until you started getting delivery of new stock , I’m like yourself very OCD and i can’t help but noticing the black small stickers behind your desk and to your left sitting , obviously some notices have been taken down and it’s left the remainder of the sticky pads , you can buy 3M Command mounting strips that are easy to remove , not meaning to be rude just a observation, love the channel keep up the good work and I will try my best to stick to my own property with the OCD 😢

Defo got your head screwed on right. One point, family time, youre 100% right but dont miss the holidays and school plays etc for work until your 40. Youll get to 40 and will be successful either way (family time, no family time) but only you know what is success and i bet that is your family, money or otherwise.
