For the teacher recommenders do i need to check yes to the question if i want them to complete an evaluation for my [college name] application? Or is that just for the counselor?

I’m confused. So do you invite them on common app and then they’ll make a recommendation at their own time or like do they have to send you the recommendation and you give it directly to the recommendation section yourself? Cause it says “teacher evaluation”.

this is so helpful. im a sophomore right now and taking a test prep course where i’m “destined” to get a 1400+ by the end of the course when i take my test this june, today i took my first practice test within the course and i got lower than my original score which drastically reduced my confidence and motivation to continue

I am not from the US. I only heard about the SAT in my junior year and decided to attempt it once, this is the digital SAT btw, so I didnt know about any books like the princeton review and other etc. I only knew about Khan Academy and the four tests on bluebook, i managed to score a 1350. I know that I can do better so i am thinking of giving the sat again in may :D

Mam,can you please help me. My counselor said he made a mistake while filling my recommendation about my graduation date to 2018 while I graduated in 2021. I haven't submitted an application to any of my desired schools. And he said recommendations can be submitted only once. How can we make it right ? I'm currently freaking out right now because I've been taking practice SAT test at home while timing myself, and as I go down the list of college board practice sats, my score kept going down. Sadly my highest is a 1290 and my most recent test was a 1190. I have a SAT test this saturday. 😭😭

This is the first time ive ever taken something so serious that im studying 24/7 everyday and staying back at school until 6pm to get a good score. I took an affordable test prep class and my scored improved by 300+ in 8 weeks.

I took more than 6 practice test on bluebook and each time i would get like 1100 1190 1150 . I dont know if its my fault or bluebook but it would be really helpful if i could even score a 1200+

How do you know that your recommenders have received and submitted submitted their letters? Also do common app actually send them emails that guide them?

hi! a lot of people are saying to ask for letters of recommendations now for the 2023-2024 application process, but the common app refreshes and opens on august 1st. Should I ask my teachers to draft a letter for me and wait till the early fall to upload it to the common app?
