Kangaroo is a protected species as all native animals are, so you can't hunt for them unless you are an Aboriginal or you have tags from the government to remove them as pests, but they farm Kangaroos for food...

As an Australian, I absolutely hate paper straws, they are the worse thing ever. What about electric kettles, Americans don’t really use them. We don’t have to vote, we do have to get our name marked off as if we have voted, but once you get your voting papers you don’t have to actually vote, chuck them in the bin if you want. You do have to get your name marked off on the electoral roll.

Australia is in Canada and we are plagued with Zebras and Giraffes, who knew. Most foreigners always get the capital question wrong but don’t worry I’ve even heard Australians say Sydney. We actually have two national animals, the kangaroo and the emu who both appear on our coat of arms, they are both animals who can’t walk backwards.

Most Uni courses in Oz are 3 years & about 1/3 the price unless you do a medical science or Ph.D. Ketchup is much thicker than Tomato Sauce & spreads better on pies.

Hi. We don’t use the word “crisps”. That’s what the Brits use. Both are called chips and if you want to get specific fries would be called “hot chips” but that’s not that necessary as if you order fish and chips everyone would know that you mean hot chips. We definitely don’t use the term crisps.
